The Pierce County Jail (also known as the Blackshear Jail) is a historic building built in 1894 in Blackshear, Georgia. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 1980.
An old wooden jail burned in 1880 and a jail made of wood and metal was built in 1882. In 1894 a new two-story brick jail was built, with room for the jail keeper to live on the first floor. It was used as a jail from then until 1926. The building was then used as a city hall and police headquarters until 1976. [2]
The Old Jail is a historic jail in St. Augustine, Florida. It is located at 167 San Marco Avenue. On August 27, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The St. Johns County Jail now serves as the Old Jail Museum.
The Dubuque County Jail is a historic building at 36 East 8th Street in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1858, the jail is an example of the uncommon Egyptian Revival style. It is architecturally a highly original work of John F. Rague, who also designed the 1837 Old Capitol of Illinois and the 1840 Territorial Capitol of Iowa. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark for its architecture in 1987. It served as a jail for more than a century, became a museum in 1975, and was converted into county offices in 2016.
The Darke County Courthouse, Sheriff's House and Jail are three historic buildings located at 504 South Broadway just south of West 4th Street in Greenville, Ohio. On December 12, 1976, the three buildings of the present courthouse complex were added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Old Clinch County Jail is a historic jail in Homerville, Georgia, Clinch County, Georgia, located in Court Square. It is a two-story brick building 35 feet by 32 feet in size and was built in 1893. It was completed in 1894 at a cost of $3,175 and was the county's jail for 33 years, until 1927.
The Old Scott County Jail is a historic former county jail at 125 West 2nd Street in Waldron, Arkansas. It is currently home to the Scott County Historical and Genealogical Society. The building is a two-story structure, built of fieldstone covered in concrete, with a flat roof and a stone foundation. It has a single entrance, which has sidelight windows, and its windows now have decorative shutters rather than iron bars. The jail was built in 1907-08, and was used for its original purpose until the 1930s, when it was adapted for use as Waldron's public library. The library occupied the building between 1938 and 1947, and it was used for a time by local Boy Scout and Girl Scout organizations. It has housed the historical society since 1987.
Lake County Sheriff's House and Jail, also known as the Sheriff's House, is a historic jail and residence located at 226 South Main Street in Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana. It was built in 1882, and is a two-story, Second Empire style brick building. It has a three-story projecting tower and a mansard roof. It features a one-story, flat roofed porch with Tuscan order columns added about 1890. The building remained in use as a residence until 1958 and as a jail until 1974. The building is maintained and open to the public by the Old Sheriff's House Foundation.
Old Indianapolis City Hall, formerly known as the Indiana State Museum, is a historic city hall located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1909-1910, and is a four-story, Classical Revival style brick building sheathed in Indiana limestone. It measures 188 feet by 133 feet.

It has fluted columns made of metal. There is a brick addition in the rear of the building. The interior has a small rotunda. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Blackshear Depot, at 200 S. Central Ave. in Blackshear in Pierce County, Georgia, was built in 1917 by the Savannah, Florida & Western Railway It was used for passenger service into the 1950s and freight service into the 1970s. It is adjacent to the city hall and city park. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
