Prestige Group is an Indian property development company in based in Bangalore. [1] [2] Founded by Razack Sattar in 1986, Prestige has developed residential colonies and commercial spaces in Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Calicut, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Mangalore, Goa and Mysore. Notable projects include Prestige Shantiniketan, [3] UB City, Prestige Golfshire, Prestige Acropolis, The Forum, [4] The Forum Value, The Forum Vijaya, [5] and The Celebration Mall. [6]

History

Prestige Group was founded by Razack Sattar who is a Kutchi Memon. [7] During the 1960s and late 1970s his sons Irfan Razack and Rezwan Razack worked with him, and his youngest son Noaman Razzack also joined when the business grew. [8] It began as a retail business, but moved to real estate with its first project Prestige Court at KH road, Bangalore. [9] [10] The company is ISO 9001:2008 certified. [11] To date, Prestige Group has completed 192 Projects spanning to an extent of 64 million sqft. [12]

Green Line of Namma Metro was built along with the Purple Line during the first phase of construction of the metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The 30.5 km (19.0 mi) line connects Madavara in the northwest to Silk Institute in the south. The line connects the industrial centers of Peenya and Yeshwanthpur along Tumakuru Road in the north with the central hub of Majestic and the southern residential areas of Bangalore such as Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, Banashankari, Konanakunte Cross, Thalaghattapura along Kanakapura Road. Green Line is mostly elevated, with 26 elevated and 3 underground stations. The Line passes through Majestic station which is an interchange station between Green and Purple Lines.
