The National Register of Historic Places in the United States is a register including buildings, sites, structures, districts, and objects. The Register automatically includes all National Historic Landmarks as well as all historic areas administered by the U.S. National Park Service. Since its introduction in 1966, more than 90,000 separate listings have been added to the register.

Field Club is the location of dozens of historically significant homes in the Omaha area, including the Gerald R. Ford Birthsite and Gardens.
The President Gerald R. Ford Jr. House is a historic house at 514 Crown View Drive in Alexandria, Virginia. Built in 1955, it was the home of Gerald Ford from then until his assumption of the United States Presidency on August 9, 1974. The house is typical of middle-class housing in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington from that period. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1985 for its association with the Fords.

Fiske & Meginnis, Architects was an architecture firm partnership from 1915–1924 between Ferdinand C. Fiske (1856–1930) and Harry Meginnis in Lincoln, Nebraska. Twelve of the buildings they designed are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The two men have additional buildings listed on the National Register with other partnerships or individually credited. The W. T. Thorne Building, also known as Hostetler's Opera House, is a historic three-story building in Minden, Nebraska. It was built in 1891 by W. T. Thorne, and designed in the Renaissance Revival architectural style. It was named for Bruno 0. Hostetler, who served as the mayor of Kearney, Nebraska and a judge. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 12, 1985.
The McCook Public-Carnegie Library, also known as the McCook Carnegie Library, is a historic building in McCook, Nebraska, United States. It was built as a Carnegie library in 1905, and designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style by Denver architect Willis Marean. It housed the McCook public library until 1969. Since then, it has housed the Museum of the High Plains. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 12, 1985.
The Marquis Opera House is a historic building in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. It was first built by L. C. Marquis and C. R. Inman in 1909–10 as a theatre, with an auditorium inside. It closed down, and the building redesigned in the Classical Revival style in 1916. The auditorium was remodelled into floors for apartments and offices. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 10, 1985.
The H.E. Snyder House is a historic two-story house in Columbus, Nebraska. It was built in 1928 by George Johnsen I, and designed by architect Edward J. Sessinghaus. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 10, 1986.
Warren's Opera House is a historic building in Friend, Nebraska. It was built by John Lanahan for Joshua Warren in 1885–1886. Inside, there is an auditorium with a proscenium and a balcony supported by four columns. It hosted performances by "touring stock companies; comic opera; companies; musical concerts; dialect comedies" as well as local performers and Memorial Day celebrations. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 28, 1988.
Richard W. Grant (1862-1939), often known as R. W. Grant, was an architect based in Beatrice, Nebraska. He designed about 70 schools and at least four Carnegie libraries. A number of his works are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
