Coles County Courthouse is a historic courthouse in Charleston, Illinois. The courthouse is located in a public square in central Charleston and houses most of Coles County, Illinois's administrative offices as well as its courts. It was built in 1898 and designed by architect Cornelius W. Rapp in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The building's exterior is faced in brown stone from the Embarras River; Bedford stone is used for several architectural details. The corners of the building feature pavilions topped by pyramids, and a clock tower topped with a pyramid is situated atop the center of the courthouse. The four main entrances, located on each side of the building, feature an arcaded porch with recessed doors.

It was expanded with court facilities the following year, and in 1910 the main portion of the Georgian Revival structure was built with the present façade. Each phase showed an increasing attention to detail and ornament.

It, along with the Veterans Memorial Building and two other buildings, is a contributing property to the May's Island Historic District that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The Hood County Courthouse Historic District in Granbury, Hood County, Texas encompasses 12 acres of land. The principal building in and the focal point of the district is the historic Hood County Courthouse built in 1890-1891. Other major buildings include the 1885 Hood County Jailhouse, the 1885 First National Bank Building, the 1891 building which formerly housed the Hood County News, the 1893 Aston-Landers Saloon Building, the 1893 Nutt Brothers Building and the 1886 Granbury Opea House. On June 5, 1974, the district was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The nomination form called it "one of the most complete nineteenth century courthouse squares in Texas." The district is also recognized as a State Antiquities Landmark and includes several Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks.

The Bear Lake County Courthouse, located at 7 E. Center St. in Paris, is the county courthouse serving Bear Lake County, Idaho. Built in 1884–85, the building is one of Idaho's oldest county courthouses. Architect Truman O. Angell designed the building in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. The front entrance to the building has a two-story portico supported by Doric columns and topped by a pediment. A square cupola with bracketed pediments on each side tops the building's hipped roof.
The Wharton County Courthouse Historic Commercial District is a 21-acre (8.5 ha) historic district in Wharton, Texas that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. It includes works by architects Jules Leffland and Wyatt C. Hedrick and others. The NRHP listing included 46 contributing buildings and two contributing objects, as well as 31 non-contributing buildings and two non-contributing objects, on the blocks fronting on the courthouse square and on nearby blocks.
The Kootenai County Courthouse, located at 501 Government Way in Coeur d'Alene, is the county courthouse serving Kootenai County, Idaho. The courthouse was built in 1925–26. Spokane architect Julius A. Zittle designed the Georgian Revival building. A portico at the entrance features an entablature, frieze, and balcony supported by two Doric columns. The second-floor front windows are arched and have terra cotta ornamentation; brick pilasters separate the windows. The building is topped by a cornice and a brick parapet; a decorative Idaho state seal is located on the parapet above the entrance.
