The Rowland J. Darnell House is a historic mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. It was built in 1907 for Rowland Jones Darnell, a lumber dealer from the North. [2] By 1917, it had been acquired by the hardware dealer A. R. Orgill, followed by another hardware dealer named Leslie Martin Stratton from 1919 to 1924. [2] It was purchased by The Nineteenth Century Club in 1926. [2]

The house was designed in the Colonial Revival architectural style, with Beaux Arts features. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 26, 1979. [3]

They were built by businessmen Louis Steiner and Nathan Lobman circa 1891 for their dry goods store. By 1895, the Southern building was sold to William Martin Teague, the owner of the Teague Hardware Company. The buildings remained in the respective families as late as the 1970s. They have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 31, 1979.

The Wolcott House is a historic house in Mission Hills, Kansas, U.S.. It was built in 1928 for John J. Wolcott, a grain dealer, and his wife Wynnogene. It was designed by architect Selby Kurfiss in the Tudor Revival style, with elements of French electricism. In 1939, it was purchased by Louis S. Myers, the vice president and treasurer of the Rodney Milling Company. By 1951, it was purchased by Samuel Sosland, the editor of Southwestern Miller. It was then purchased by David W. Gibson, the president of the Wolcott-Lincoln Company, in 1984, followed by Mark A. Morgan in 1997, and Michael Coughlin in 1999. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 2, 2001.
