The Saban Universe is an ongoing franchise and shared universe of American comic books published by Boom! Studios in collaboration with Hasbro and Saban Capital Group. Originally based on Power Rangers by Haim Saban, it later added other properties from Saban Brands.

Publication history

Since 2016, Boom! Studios has been publishing comics based on Power Rangers, the franchise created by Haim Saban and originally owned by Saban Brands, a division of Saban Capital Group, until Hasbro gained the rights in 2020. [1]

Until 2024, the original continuity was solely focused on Power Rangers storylines, featuring events like "Shattered Grid", "Necessary Evil", "Unlimited Power", "The Eltarian War", "Charge to 100!" and "Recharged", concluding with "Darkest Hour". [2]

In November 2024, Boom! debuted the series Power Rangers Prime, which introduced a rebooted continuity with concepts and characters from other Saban intellectual properties, like VR Troopers. [3]
