American singer Sabrina Carpenter has released six studio albums, two extended plays, 24 singles (including five as a featured artist), 23 promotional singles and 31 music videos. After gaining recognition on Disney Channel's Girl Meets World and performing its theme song, Carpenter signed a five-album deal with Hollywood Records. In 2014, she released her debut single Can't Blame a Girl for Trying and an EP of the same name. She followed this with her debut album Eyes Wide Open (2015) which debuted at number 43 on the US Billboard 200.

Contents

She released her second studio album Evolution (2016) which found commercial success and debuted at number 28. It was accompanied by the singles "On Purpose" and "Thumbs"; the latter of which peaked at number one on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart and was certified Platinum by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). She found continued success with her follow-up single "Why", which was certified Gold by the RIAA. Her next studio album was split into two parts with Singular: Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019). The albums gained recognition for their singles including "Alien", "Almost Love" and "Sue Me" which became consecutive number ones on the US Dance Club Songs chart. [1] She also collaborated with Alan Walker and The Vamps on the song "On My Way" and "Hands" respectively.

Carpenter released various singles from 2020–2021 including "Honeymoon Fades" and "Skin" with the latter marking her first release with Island Records and first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 48. [2] Her fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send (2022) found commercial success, and featured the RIAA Platinum singles "Nonsense" and "Feather", with the latter reaching number one on the US Pop Songs chart and peaking at number 21 on the Hot 100. She released her first Christmas EP in 2023, Fruitcake , which reached number 19 on the US Top Holiday Albums chart. In 2024, Carpenter released her sixth studio album Short n' Sweet (2024) which spent multiple weeks atop the Billboard 200. The album garnered various singles including "Espresso" and "Please Please Please"; both of which topped various charts worldwide including the Billboard Global 200, while the latter marked her first number one on the Hot 100.

Throughout her career, Carpenter has collaborated with numerous artists including Charlie Puth, Sofia Carson, Zara Larsson and Jonas Blue. She gained recognition for her video song covers on YouTube, [3] and has since covered songs by artists such as Taylor Swift, [4] ABBA, [5] and Christina Aguilera. [6] She has also lent her vocals to various soundtracks including that for Sofia the First (2013), Teen Beach 2 (2015), Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018) and Clouds (2020).

After finishing third on the second season of The X Factor US the group was signed to Epic Records though Syco Music. Less than a year later, Fifth Harmony released their debut single from their debut extended play, "Miss Movin' On". The single charted on the Mainstream Top 40 and New Zealand, peaking at 27 in both countries. It was certified Gold in the United States for selling combined sales and track-equivalent streams units of 500,000. The group's extended play, Better Together peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 and number 18 in New Zealand, charting in both countries similar to the group's lead single. In 2011, she signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, and started recording songs. She self-released "Love Ballad" as her debut single in October 2012. The next year, Lo released "Habits", which received positive feedback from music blogs and led her to sign a record deal with Universal Music Group. Lo's first EP, Truth Serum, was released under the label on 3 March 2014, and entered the top 20 in Norway and Sweden. Three singles were released from the EP, including a remixed version of "Habits" by production duo Hippie Sabotage, re-titled as "Stay High". The track peaked at number 13 in Sweden and reached the top ten of the charts in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Puth released his second studio album Voicenotes on May 11, 2018, supported by the singles "Attention", "How Long", "Done for Me", "Change", and "The Way I Am". His third album, Charlie, was released on October 7, 2022, which includes singles "Light Switch" and "Left and Right", with BTS member Jungkook.

According to Recording Industry Association of America, Doja Cat has sold 34 million certified albums and singles in the United States as a lead artist. Doja Cat self-released her debut single, "So High", before releasing her debut extended play (EP), Purrr! (2014). Following the release of Amala (2018) and a viral success of the song "Mooo!" in August of that same year, all of these songs such as "Candy", "Tia Tamera", and "Juicy" became sleeper hits, prompting Doja Cat to release the deluxe edition of Amala in early 2019. Capitalizing on her growing popularity, her second studio album, Hot Pink (2019), ultimately charted in the top ten on the US Billboard 200; as well as the top 20 of countries such as Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands and New Zealand. Hot Pink spawned the breakthrough single "Say So", and a remix featuring Nicki Minaj became Doja Cat's first number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100.
