The Salem Church, at 208 Ohio Street in Tulare, South Dakota, is a historic church. It was built in 1911 and was added to the National Register in 1997. [1]

It is Late Gothic Revival in style. [2]

It is a one-story wood fram building which is 44 by 28 feet (13.4 m × 8.5 m) in plan. It has a tall centered bell tower with a steeple above the main entrance. It was deemed "a good example of a first generation church in rural South Dakota, constructed in the vernacular Gothic Revival tradition." [2]

The building exterior is clapboard with a characteristic tower including abat-sons and emphatic eaves supported by corbels. It is the oldest church building in Hastings, originally built in 1862 on 5th Street, it was moved to its present location in 1871; at that time the tower was added. The building is currently used by the Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.

Old Salem Church and Cemetery is a historic Lutheran Church and adjacent cemetery located at Catonsville, Baltimore County, Maryland. The main part of the 1849 Gothic Revival church building is a three bay, irregular stone structure approximately 28 feet wide and 42 feet long. It features a gable roof, a short boxy steeple, an entrance porch at the front and an apse at the rear. The interior features a gallery and organ loft has the original tracker organ, which is still hand pumped by a wooden lever on the north side of the case. From early on, the ground to the south of the church was laid out as a cemetery. The church was founded by German Lutheran immigrants.
