The Saline County Bank is a historic building in Western, Nebraska, and its current post office. It was built in 1887 to house the Saline County Bank, who president was George F. Sawyer. [2] It was designed in the Italianate architectural style. [2] The initially belonged to William Bench, and it was acquired by Sawyer in 1889, followed by the bank itself in 1896. [2] It later became Western's post office. [2] It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 5, 1990. [1]

Sawyer–Curtis House

The Sawyer–Curtis House is a historic residence in the community of Little Hocking in Washington County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Ohio River in southern Belpre Township below the city of Belpre, Little Hocking was settled shortly before 1800. The earliest settler in the vicinity of Little Hocking was Nathaniel Sawyer, a native of Massachusetts who erected a New England-style of house there in 1798. Now known as the Sawyer–Curtis House, it is believed to have been the first permanent structure to be erected anywhere in Belpre Township. Sawyer's house is a weatherboarded structure with a tin roof and a foundation of sandstone. Built around a frame of logs, it is constructed with a typical New England floor plan, with its most significant individual feature being a massive chimney at the center of the house.

Gann Building

The Gann Building is a historic building located at 218 S. Market St. in Benton, Arkansas. The building, which was built in 1893, is the only known extant building to have been built out of bauxite. Dr. Dewell Gann, Sr., had the building constructed as an office for his medical practice; the building was built by his patients in lieu of payment for medical services. After his office became successful, Gann helped establish the Saline County Medical Society. Gann's son, Dewell Gann, Jr., also worked in the office; Gann, Jr., was a successful physician as well and was named a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1925. The office was converted to a city library in 1946, and later became a local museum in 1967.

The Main Street Historic District is a commercial historic district that includes structures located at 3-153 East Main Street, 1-41 West Main Street, and 8 Park Lane in Milan, Michigan. Although within Milan, the district spans the county line between Washtenaw County, Michigan and Monroe County, Michigan, containing structures within both counties. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Hughes Mound Site, (3SA11), is an archeological site in Saline County, Arkansas near Benton. The 4.5-acre (1.8 ha) is an important Caddoan Mississippian culture village center, at the northeastern frontier of that civilization. It is the only known platform mound site south of Benton on the Saline River. The site has not been dated, but artifacts found there are consistent with the Caddoan period; no contact-period artifacts have been found.

Sawyer Woolen Mills

The Sawyer Woolen Mills are a historic textile mill complex at 1 Mill Street in Dover, New Hampshire. Built in stages between 1873 and 1939, the mill complex is one of New Hampshire's most intact mill complexes, reflecting multiple architectural styles which were retained by addition to the complex rather than by the demolition of older buildings. The mills were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Ahoskie Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Ahoskie, Hertford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 14 contributing buildings in the central business district of Ahoskie. The commercial and governmental buildings include notable examples of Classical Revival and Colonial Revival architecture dated between 1901 and the late 1930s. Notable buildings include the (former) United States Post Office (1940), Garrett Hotel (1926), W. D. Newsome Building, Hotel Comfort (1907), Mitchell Hotel, Hertford Herald building, Bank of Ahoskie (1925-1926), Sawyer~Browne Furniture Company (1924), Richard Theater (1927), and E. L. Garrett Building (1938).

Sweet Springs Historic District is a national historic district located at Sweet Springs, Saline County, Missouri. The district encompasses 18 contributing buildings in the central business district of Sweet Springs. It developed between about 1875 and 1947, and includes representative examples of Queen Anne and Classical Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Sweet Springs Post Office (1912), McEntire & Son Jewelry/Post Office, Chemical Bank, and Barbee Lodge 217 AF&AM.

Saline station

The Saline station, also known as the Detroit, Hillsdale and Indiana Railroad-Saline Depot, is a former railroad depot located at 402 North Ann Arbor Street in Saline, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building now houses the Saline Depot Museum.

Saline County Courthouse (Nebraska)

The Saline County Courthouse is a historic three-story building in Wilber, Nebraska, and the courthouse of Saline County, Nebraska. It is the second county courthouse built in Wilber; the first courthouse was built in 1878. The current courthouse was built in 1927, with Bedford limestone. It was designed by architect Marcus L. Evans in the Classical Revival style, with "acroteria, fluted Doric columns, and triglyphs." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 5, 1990.
