SchlagerTV is a Schlager music television channel aimed at the European and North-American markets which launched in January, 2009. The programming consists mainly of music videos and music programs in the German language. The main music genre is the popular Schlager music genre from Germany and Austria. The channel is founded by Jur Bron and Gerard Ardesch and officially owned by their company TV Digitaal BV. In December 2011, the Brava TV Group announced that Strengholt BV became co-owner of SchlagerTV, though sister channel TV Oranje remains solely owned by TV Digitaal BV. [1] [2] Since 12 May 2016 it is part of MuziekKiosk. [3]

The Dutch version of the broadcasting free-to-cable in the Netherlands and through satellite in Belgium, was launched on 23 February 2002. In addition to the general Nickelodeon programmes, original productions such as ZOOP, Het Huis Anubis, and SuperNick are also broadcast. The Dutch Kids' Choice Awards were presented in three years, featuring nominees that are relevant to the Dutch In 2010, the US Kids' Choice Awards aired, which included categories for the Netherlands and Belgium inserted into the broadcast.

The Netherlands now has three major forms of broadcast digital television. Terrestrial (DVB-T), Cable (DVB-C), and Satellite (DVB-S). In addition IPTV services are available. At the end of the first quarter of 2013 almost 84% of the households in the Netherlands had some form of digital television.

ONS is a Dutch commercial television channel owned by Bureauvijftig, which is dedicated to viewers aged 50 years or older. ONS's main target is the older audience. ONS airs footage from the forties to the eighties. Each month a specific theme is on the channel. Topics such as the Dutch East Indies, Netherlands Waterland, railroads, mills, work, food and household are broadcast. The channel launched as NostalgieNet on 1 January 2006 and changed its name into ONS on 13 September 2015. On 1 January 2020, Bureauvijftig took over ONS from Just Media Group. ONS is available in HD through Ziggo since 10 February 2022.

Stingray Classica is a television channel devoted to classical music, opera, ballet and jazz, currently owned by Stingray Group in Canada.

Fox Life, now rebranded as Star Life and FX Life, was an international pay television network, launched by the Fox Networks Group in 2004. The network has been discontinued in several markets over time, and is currently active in the Middle East, Portugal, the Baltic states, the CIS, Malta, and India.
