Scottsville is a city in Mitchell County, Kansas, United States. [1] As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 26. [3]
Scottsville was platted in October 1878 when the railroad was extended to that point. [4] [5] It was named for Tom Scott, a pioneer settler. [6] [7]
The post office in Scottsville was discontinued in 1967. [8]
