The Slayton Mercantile Co. is a site on the National Register of Historic Places located at Main and First Streets in Lavina, Montana. It was added to the Register on December 28, 2000. [1]
It is a two part two-story brick building built in 1910. It was deemed to be "a good example of turn of the 20th century Western commercial architecture", with a horizontal division between first and second floors. Its main front portion is 59 by 46 feet (18 m × 14 m) in plan, and it has a lower rear portion that is 58 by 30 feet (17.7 m × 9.1 m) in plan. [2]
Built in 1890, the 2,376-foot-long (724 m) Walnut Street Bridge connects Chattanooga, Tennessee's downtown with North Chattanooga. The bridge's main spans are pin-connected Pennsylvania through truss spans. The top chord of these truss spans are configured in five sections, making the spans similar to the Camelback truss design. The bridge is historically significant as an extremely long and old example of its type; according to the Historic American Engineering Record: "The bridge was apparently the first non-military highway bridge across the Tennessee River."
The Mercantile National Bank Building is a 31-story, 159.4 m (523 ft) skyscraper at 1800 Main Street in the Main Street district of downtown Dallas, Texas. It is the former home of the Mercantile National Bank, which later became MCorp Bank. The design of the skyscraper features Moderne styling from the Art Deco era and was designed by Walter W. Ahlschlager. The building has a series of setbacks that is crowned by an ornamental four-sided clock along with a decorative weather spire. The Merc was the main element of a four-building complex that eventually spanned a full city block.
Worth's Block, also known as the Gator Club, is a historic building in Sarasota, Florida. It is located at 1490 Main Street. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
Lock and Dam No. 14 is a lock and dam located near LeClaire, Iowa on the Upper Mississippi River above Davenport, Iowa and Moline, Illinois. The movable portion of the dam is 1,343 feet (409.3 m) long and consists of 13 tainter gates and 4 roller gates. Connected to it is a 1,127 feet (343.5 m) long non-submersible rock fill dike which extends to the Illinois side. The main lock is 110 feet (33.5 m) wide by 600 feet (182.9 m) long. The site on the National Register of Historic Places as the Lock and Dam No. 14 Historic District (#04000174) listed in 2004 consisting of 3,043 acres (12.3 km2), 1 building, 6 structures, and 2 objects. It was completed in two phases, the first as part of the six foot channel project from 1921 to 1924, which included a lock and canal bypassing a hazardous rapids. The second phase was part of the nine foot channel project from 1935 to 1939 and included the main dam and the current main lock.
Mercantile is a two-masted schooner berthed in Camden Harbor, Camden, Maine. Built in the 1914-16 on Little Deer Isle, Maine, she is one of a small number of such vessels still afloat from a time when they were one of the most common cargo vessels of the coasting trade. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1991, she now serves as a "Maine windjammer", offering multi-day sailing cruises to tourists.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 2, 2008, and was the 14th property listed as a featured property of the week in a program of the National Park Service that began in July, 2008.

The IOOF Building in Ashland, Oregon, also known as Oddfellows Building, is a two-story eclectic-styled building in "The Plaza" area of Ashland that was built in 1879. Historically its second story served as a clubhouse of the local International Order of Odd Fellows chapter and the ground floor provided specialty store space. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, for its architecture. From its construction to 1978, the building had served well in the active "Plaza" area of Medford, and continued in its original purposes. Behind the building, by 1978 there was a landscaped park area which had been extended from nearby Lithia Park, where there was once a mill flume.
The Slayton Farms-Round Barn is a historic building located near Iowa Falls in rural Hardin County, Iowa, United States. Frank Slayton had it built in 1915 for use as a dairy barn. The barn is one of 16 that was built by the Johnston Brothers Clay Works from Fort Dodge, Iowa. It is constructed of hollow clay tiles and features a gambrel roof with two different pitches and hay dormer. Two aerators flank the central silo on the roof. The interior of the barn is fashioned around the silo from which silage was shoveled to feed the cattle. An overhead track system and a bucket for hauling materials remains intact. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1999.
The Summit Lake Ranger Station, also known as the Summit Lake Patrol Cabin, is one of the first three buildings constructed by the National Park Service in Lassen Volcanic National Park, California. Located near the center of the park on the main park road, the cabin was built in 1926. It is a log building measuring about 20 feet (6.1 m) by 30 feet (9.1 m) with an asymmetric gable roof that results in a long pitch to a low rear wall. The main portion of the station comprises a living area, kitchen, and two bedrooms. A former porch has been enclosed and houses a bathroom.

The Nye County Mercantile Company Building is a historic building located at 147 Main St. in Tonopah, Nevada. The two-story concrete block building was constructed in 1905. While concrete blocks were a popular building material in the era, the building was one of the first in Tonopah to be built with the blocks. Businessman Henry C. Cutting built the building to house his mercantile business. Cutting opened the first mercantile business in Tonopah; he reorganized the business as the Nye County Mercantile Company when he constructed its new building.
