The Smackover Historic Commercial District encompasses the civic and commercial heart of the small town of Smackover, Arkansas. It consists of sixteen buildings lining a single block of Broadway north of 7th Avenue. The area is reflective of Smackover's explosive growth following the discovery of oil in 1925; most of the buildings were built between 1925 and 1940. They are mostly vernacular commercial buildings, one or two stories in height, with flat roofs obscured by a parapet on the main facade. Also included in the district are the Methodist Episcopal church, the old fire station, and the old city hall and jail. Union County is a county located on the central southern border of the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 39,054. The county seat is El Dorado. The county was formed on November 2, 1829, and named in recognition of the citizens' petition for a new county, which said that they were petitioning "in the spirit of Union and Unity." The county is directly adjacent to the south to Union Parish in the state of Louisiana.

The Rogers Commercial Historic District, known informally as Historic Downtown Rogers, is a historic district in the central business district of Rogers, Arkansas. When it was first listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it was known as the Walnut Street Historic District; this was changed when the district was enlarged in 1993. The district encompasses a portion of the city's central business district, whose historical significance extends from about 1885 to the end of World War II.
The Argenta Historic District encompasses significant historic elements of central North Little Rock, Arkansas. The area that is now central North Little Rock was known as Argenta when it was first settled, and remained unincorporated until it was annexed to Little Rock in 1890. William Faucette, a leading Argenta politician and businessman, orchestrated the incorporation of North Little Rock just beyond the annexed area in 1901, and then made a successful petition to separate Argenta from Little Rock into the new municipality in 1903. Subsequent attempts to rename North Little Rock to Argenta have failed.

Mount Nord Historic District is a historic district in Fayetteville, Arkansas encompassing one city block with five properties. The district lies atop a rise of about 140 feet (43 m) above the surrounding area. The properties were built between 1901 and 1925 in various architectural styles, and the area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
The Fordyce Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic heart of Fordyce, Arkansas, the county seat of Dallas County. It encompasses four city blocks of North Main Street, between 1st and 4th, and includes properties on these adjacent streets. Fordyce was founded in 1882, and the oldest building in the district, the Nutt-Trussell Building at 202 North Main Street, was built c. 1884. Spurred by the logging industry and the Cotton Belt Railroad, Fordyce's downtown area had 25 buildings by 1901, and continued to grow over the next few decades, resulting in a concentration of period commercial architecture in its downtown. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
The Prescott Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic commercial core of Prescott, Arkansas, the county seat of Nevada County. Prescott was laid out in 1873, after the railroad was built through the area that is now Nevada County, and the railroad has played a significant role in the city's development. The railroad today bisects the commercial core of the city, which extends for several city blocks away from the railroad. The historic district includes all of the major civic buildings of the city, including the courthouse, post office, and the old Prescott City Jail.
The Arkadelphia Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic commercial core of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the county seat of Clark County. Arkadelphia was settled in 1842, and its commercial district is located in one of the older parts of the city, near the Ouachita River. Most of the buildings were built between c. 1890 and c. 1920, and are built out of brick and masonry; the oldest building in the district is estimated to have been built in 1870.
The Pocahontas Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic civic heart of Pocahontas, the county seat of Randolph County, Arkansas. The district includes roughly five-block stretches of Broadway and Pyburn and Everett Streets between US 67 and Bryant Street, and extends across US 67 to include a small complex of industrial buildings and the former railroad depot. Founded in 1836, the center of Pocahontas is dominated by the Old Randolph County Courthouse, a handsome Italianate structure built in 1875 which now houses city offices. It is surrounded by commercial buildings, generally one or two stories in height, most of which were built between 1900 and 1930, although there are a few 19th-century buildings. Later growth extended away from this center. Other notable buildings in the district include the present Randolph County Courthouse and the 1930s Art Deco style Post Office building.
The Jefferson County Courthouse is the center of county government for Jefferson County, Arkansas. It is located in the Pine Bluff Commercial Historic District in Pine Bluff on the border between the Arkansas delta and Piney Woods.
The Waldron Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic central business district of Waldron, Arkansas. This area, a five-block stretch of Main Street, was primarily developed between 1880 and 1920, but was an active commercial area from the town's incorporation in 1852. An unknown number of its early buildings were destroyed during the American Civil War. Most of the buildings are one and two story brick structures, with a variety of commercial architectural and vernacular styles present. The courthouse is a notable late building: it was built in 1933, and has Art Deco styling.
The Huntsville Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic elements of the business district of Huntsville, Arkansas, the county seat of Madison County. It covers an area three blocks by two, extending east–west between Hughes and Harris Streets, and north–south between War Eagle and Church Streets. Most of the buildings in the district were built after fires swept through the town in 1902 and 1925, although the Madison County Courthouse is an Art Deco structure built in 1939. The district includes 32 historically significant buildings.
The Malvern Commercial Historic District encompasses the historic commercial heart of Malvern, Arkansas. The 10-acre (4.0 ha) district extends along three blocks of South Main Street, between 2nd and 5th Streets. This area was mostly developed after fires devastated the city's downtown in 1896 and 1897, and before 1925, and includes Malvern City Hall. Most of the historic buildings are one and two-story brick buildings in commercial styles of the period.
The Pine Bluff Commercial Historic District encompasses a portion of the historic city center of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It extends from Barraque Street south along Main Street, extending in places to properties alongside streets. The area's commercial development began about 1840, when the courthouse square was laid out at Barraque and Main, and proceeded through the early 20th century. Most of the commercial properties of the district were built between 1880 and 1910, and are reflective architecturally of late 19th-century commercial building styles.
The Jacksonville Commercial Historic District encompasses a 1-1/2 block section of 1st Street in Jacksonville, Arkansas, between Main Street and 2nd Street. The area contains six commercial buildings, constructed between 1925 and 1962, a period when the railroad was an important element of the city's growth. (The railroad tracks lie across 1st Street from the commercial strip. The buildings are mostly single-story brick or stucco buildings with vernacular style.
Witt, Seibert & Halsey was an American architectural firm based in the twin cities of Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas, with a practice extending into Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. It was founded by architect Sidney Stewart, but achieved prominence under Bayard Witt and Eugene C. Seibert.
