Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is a public recreation area located within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada's Cottonwood Valley, five miles (8.0 km) northwest of Blue Diamond, Nevada. The state park preserves the historic Sandstone Ranch, which was entered into the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1976.
Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is a United States National Historical Park in central Texas about 50 miles (80 km) west of Austin in the Texas Hill Country. The park protects the birthplace, home, ranch, and grave of Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States. During Johnson's administration, the LBJ Ranch was known as the Texas White House because the President spent approximately 20% of his time in office there.
San Bernardino Ranch is a historic ranch house in the southern San Bernardino Valley near the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge in extreme southeast Cochise County, Arizona, United States. It is significant for its association with the beginning of cattle ranching in southern Arizona and northern Mexico. The ranchland and valley are part of the headwaters region of the Yaqui River.
Beringer Vineyards is a large winery in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1876, Beringer Vineyards is "the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley", and is listed under both the National Register of Historic Places and as a California Historical Landmark. In 1934 it was the first California winery to offer public tours and wine tasting following the repeal of Prohibition. In 1939, Beringer invited attendees of the Golden Gate International Exposition to visit the winery; the winery also invited Hollywood stars including Clark Gable, Charles Laughton, and Carole Lombard to visit.

The David L. Shirk Ranch is a historic ranch located in the Guano Valley of eastern Lake County, Oregon, United States. The ranch was originally homesteaded in 1881. It was purchased by David L. Shirk in 1883. He operated the ranch until 1914. The property was acquired by the United States Government in 1942. The ranch is now administered by the Bureau of Land Management. The remaining historic ranch buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The historical buildings and structures of Grand Teton National Park include a variety of buildings and built remains that pre-date the establishment of Grand Teton National Park, together with facilities built by the National Park Service to serve park visitors. Many of these places and structures have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The pre-Park Service structures include homestead cabins from the earliest settlement of Jackson Hole, working ranches that once covered the valley floor, and dude ranches or guest ranches that catered to the tourist trade that grew up in the 1920s and 1930s, before the park was expanded to encompass nearly all of Jackson Hole. Many of these were incorporated into the park to serve as Park Service personnel housing, or were razed to restore the landscape to a natural appearance. Others continued to function as inholdings under a life estate in which their former owners could continue to use and occupy the property until their death. Other buildings, built in the mountains after the initial establishment of the park in 1929, or in the valley after the park was expanded in 1950, were built by the Park Service to serve park visitors, frequently employing the National Park Service Rustic style of design.
Rancho Estelle was the home of James Sublett, one of the first large-scale farmers in the Rio Grande valley of Texas, within what is now Big Bend National Park. Prior to founding the ranch, Sublett and his partner, Clyde Buttrill, farmed the bottomlands along the river in the area of what is now known as Castolon or La Harmonia, downstream from the later ranch. After the partnership with Buttrill broke up, Sublett bought four sections of land, initially calling it Grand Canyon Farms, and later Rancho Estelle.
The Horse Valley Ranch, near Littlefield, Arizona, which has also been known as Waring Ranch, dates from 1916. A 28.5-acre (11.5 ha) area of the ranch was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The listing included two contributing buildings, two other contributing structures, and a contributing site. The ranch was acquired by the National Park Service in 1967-1968 and is now part of Grand Canyon–Parashant National Monument.
The Walter Cliff Ranch District, at 7635 Old HW 395 in Washoe Valley, Nevada is a historic site that was listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has significance dating from c.1870, when the house was built. The listing included two contributing buildings: the house and a root cellar/residence building.
The Braehead Ranch is a ranch complex in Converse County, Wyoming, about 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Douglas. The ranch is in a scenic landscape in the La Prele valley with a view of the red sandstone cliffs of Red Canyon. It was founded by George H. Cross in the 1880s. The original log homestead, built in 1883, has been preserved, together with contemporaneous ranch buildings. Contributing structures in the complex include a log barn (1887), a frame barn (1889), a granary (1900), a chicken house (1910), a windmill and a variety of smaller buildings. The main house dates to 1893-1897, of frame construction.
The Ernest and Mary Hemingway House, in Ketchum, Idaho, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The National Register does not disclose its location but rather lists it as "Address restricted." The property is the last undeveloped property of its size within the city limits of Ketchum.
The Mason Historic District in Mason, Texas is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was listed in 1974 and increased in 1991. The original district was 230 acres (0.93 km2) forming an irregular pattern along both sides of U.S. 87 and TX 29 which included 186 contributing buildings and six contributing structures. The increase added 14 contributing building and a contributing site on 20 acres (0.081 km2) roughly along Post Hill Rd. from College Ave. to Spruce St.
Eagar Townsite Historic District is a section of the town of Eagar, Arizona which has been designated a National Historic Place. Sitting on roughly 54 acres, the site contains 37 structures, 21 of which have historical significance. The period of significance is from 1886, the year the townsite was founded, through 1942, which represents the significant period of development of the town. The site was added to the Register on July 23, 1993.
The Charles and Mary Ann (Molly) Goodnight Ranch House, near Goodnight, Texas, was built in 1888. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
The Bones Brothers Ranch, in the Tongue River Valley in Rosebud County, Montana near Birney, Montana, also known as the Z.T. Cox Ranch, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
Stewart Ranch, also known as Stewart-Hewlett Ranch, near Woodland, Utah in Wasatch and Summit counties, includes eight buildings which were separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The former ranch is located off Utah State Route 35. Some or all of the ranch is included in what is now the Diamond Bar X Ranch.
