The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is the primary cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, headed by Most Rev. Kevin Carl Rhoades. The parish was established in 1836, making it the oldest in Fort Wayne. The church was erected in 1860.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows is a historic Roman Catholic church located at Starkenburg, Montgomery County, Missouri. In addition to Stations of the Cross and two grottos, the shrine includes the Church of the Risen Savior (1873), Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows (1910), and Log Chapel (1888). The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows replaced an earlier 19th century log church, which was retained on the site as a chapel. The shrine was built by a congregation of mid-19th century German immigrants and their descendants. The Church of the Risen Savior is a Gothic Revival style limestone block structure. The bell tower was added in 1891.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The Diocese of Fall River closed the parish in 2001, and the records were transferred to St. Mary's Cathedral.
Saint Benedict - Our Lady of Montserrat, or simply St. Benedict's Church, is a Catholic church in Stamford, Connecticut, in the Diocese of Bridgeport. The historic brick Neo-Tudor church at 1A St. Benedict's Circle was built in 1930 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The architect was Henry F. Ludorf of Hartford, Connecticut. The exterior uses a variety of building materials, including brick, ashlar stone, timbering, and stucco. The church's main facade is asymmetrically arranged with its entrance on the left, under a handsome timber-frame porch, and a stone tower to the right which is topped by a bellpot roof.

St. Louis, Besancon, Historic District is a historic Roman Catholic church complex and national historic district located near New Haven in Jefferson Township, Allen County, Indiana. The district encompasses five contributing buildings and one contributing site consisting of the Saint Louis Besancon Roman Catholic Church and its cemetery and rectory. The Gothic Revival style church was built in 1870-71 of brick, fired in a nearby kiln, then covered with cement to give an appearance of stone. It features a steep gable roof and five part projecting square steeple. The rectory was built in 1893, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne style brick dwelling. The other contributing resources are the St. Louis Academy (1915), St. Louis Convent House (1915), garage (1940), and Old St. Louis Cemetery. The church was refurbished and painted in 1998.

It is constructed of load-bearing masonry walls clad in quarry-faced granite. The church was designed by John Peebles (1876-1934) in 1897, and dedicated in 1905. It is the fifth church on the site. Also on the property is a contributing rectory constructed in 1913.

Built 164 years ago in 1858, it is a rectangular, one-story, gable-front, frame structure in the Gothic Revival style. It has a steeple at the entrance and a large Gothic arched window over the entrance door. St. Mary's was the first Catholic church built within Fairfax County, and its early parishioners were primarily Irish immigrants employed by the Orange and Alexandria Railroad.

It was built 1916–1917 and is a 1+1⁄2-story, brick, Classical Revival style longitudinal-plan church. It was designed by the Carl Ruehrmurd of Richmond, Virginia. The front facade features a pedimented portico with four fluted Corinthian order columns. Associated with the church are the contributing rectory (1917), garage (1917), and prayer garden. The parish was established as a mission of the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church at Old Point Comfort in 1881. St. Alphonsus, an African American parish established in 1944, was merged with St. Vincent de Paul in 1970. This made it the first historic church in downtown Newport News to be racially integrated.

The district encompasses five contributing buildings: the church, rectory, former convent and school, school, and boiler house / garage. The church was built in 1909, and is a Romanesque Revival brick church with limestone trim. It features two- and three-story crenellated corner towers, a rose window with flanking round arched windows, and Doric order columns flanking the main entrance.
Washington Residential Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 327 resources, which included 262 contributing buildings, 61 non-contributing buildings, and two non-contributing objects. This is one of the early residential areas of Dubuque, and was home to its German community. It also defines the "walkable city" with commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings located here. There are a number of churches in the district from various denominations. Of particular interest are St. Mary's Catholic Church (1866), St. John's Lutheran Church (1880), and St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (1908). A significant number of the buildings were constructed in brick, and the vast majority of the buildings in the district were built by 1891. Vernacular structures are commonplace here, as are various Victorian styles. Hollenfelz House (1891) and the Dubuque Casket Company building (1894) are individually listed on the National Register. The former St. Mary's Catholic Church complex forms its own historic district within this one.
