TV3 Sport HD is a television channel owned by Modern Times Group broadcasting to Sweden. It specializes in HD sports. [8] The channel started broadcasting on 8 April 2016. [1] The channel is sometimes broadcast as TV3 Sport without HD.

Modern Times Group company

Modern Times Group (MTG) is a digital entertainment company based in Stockholm, Sweden. MTG was formed out of the media holdings of investment company Kinnevik, which in 1997 was distributed to the company stockholders. Today MTG operates as a strategic and operational investment holding company managing a unique portfolio including eSports businesses ESL and DreamHack, gaming companies InnoGames and Kongregate as well as digital network company Zoomin.TV.

Television in Hungary

Television in Hungary was introduced in 1957. Transmission in color was introduced to Hungarian television for the first time in 1971. Hungary had only one television channel until 1973. It was only in the mid 1990s when private and commercial broadcasting was introduced to Hungary.

NTV Plus

NTV Plus is the brand name for the Russian digital satellite television service from NTV, transmitted from Eutelsat's W4 satellite at 36.0°E and from Bonum 1 at 56.0°E. Previously a part of Vladimir Gusinsky's media empire, now it is included in the Gazprom Media holding.

Television was introduced in Czechoslovakia in 1953. Experimental projects with DVB-T started in 2000. Finally on 21 October 2005, multiplex A (DVB-T) was launched with tgtee channels of Česká televize and one of TV Nova and radio channels of Český rozhlas.

Viasat Sport is the common brand of several sports channels targeting the Nordic countries, owned by Nordic Entertainment Group.

Digital terrestrial television was launched in Sweden in 1999. The shutdown of the analogue equivalent started on September 19, 2005, and was finalized on October 15, 2007.

National Geographic Channel is a Nordic free-to-air television channel broadcasting documentaries and related programmes to the Nordic countries.

TV3 Sport

TV3 SPORT is a Danish sports television channel, owned by Modern Times Group (MTG) and operated by TV3 SPORT. The channel originally broadcast as TV 2 SPORT and was a joint-venture between TV 2 and Modern Times Group.

Telia Digital TV is an IPTV distribution platform in Sweden owned by Telia Company. It was launched in January 2005 from a few locations.

Nordic Entertainment Group is a media and entertainment company operating broadcasting and OTT services focused primarily on the Nordic market. It was created after a proposed merger between parts of Modern Times Group and TDC A/S fell through.
