Thane Lok Sabha constituency (formerly, Thana Lok Sabha constituency) is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India. [1]
At present, after the implementation of the Presidential notification on delimitation on 19 February 2008, Thane Lok Sabha constituency comprises six Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments. These segments are:

He therefore had to resign as MP for this seat which forced a by-election in 2012. This by-election was won by K. Jayaprakash Hegde of the Indian National Congress (INC). As of the latest elections in 2019, Shobha Karandlaje of the BJP represents this constituency.
