The Telegraph Hotel is a luxury hotel located on a Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The hotel is situated in a building originally constructed in the 1970s by architects Lado Alexi-Meskhishvili and Teimuraz Mikashavidze. It served as the central post and telegraph office of Tbilisi, playing a crucial role in communication during the Soviet era. The structure is renowned for its Soviet modernist architectural style and received the National State Award in 1983, recognizing its significance in Georgia's architectural heritage. [1]
After a reconstruction led by Neri & Hu, the Silk Road Group opened a 239-room hotel in the building in 2025. [2] The Telegraph Hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
