Gruene is a German-Texan town in Comal County in the U.S. state of Texas. Once a significant cotton-producing community along the Guadalupe River, the town has now shifted its economy to one supported primarily by tourism. Gruene, a German surname, is now a district within the city limits of New Braunfels, and much of it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on April 21, 1975. The city is known for its German-Texan heritage and architecture and many residents of Gruene and New Braunfels are descendants of the first German settlers.
Still Pond is a census-designated place in Kent County, Maryland, United States. Still Pond is located at the intersection of Maryland routes 292 and 566 on Still Pond Neck, south-southeast of Betterton and north of Chestertown. Much of the community is included in the Still Pond Historic District and it is notable as the first place in Maryland in which women gained the right to vote.
Gann Row Historic District is a historic district in Benton, Arkansas. The district includes thirteen residences built for Benton's middle-class population. Dr. Dewell Gan Sr., purchased most of the land in the district around 1890 and is responsible for building most of the homes. Four Folk Victorian homes in the district were built between 1880 and 1890; Gann renovated these in the 1920s, adding Craftsman details. Gann also built the remaining houses in the district in the 1920s; these were also designed in the Craftsman style. The district is still considered a middle-class residential area; it is bordered on three sides by other working-class housing and to the north by downtown Benton. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1999.
The Perry Street Historic District encompasses a fine collection of early-20th century architecture in Helena–West Helena, Arkansas. It includes fifteen buildings, arrayed on the single city blocks stretching south and west from the junction of Perry and Pecan Streets. The buildings on these blocks represent a cross-section of private and public architecture spanning 1880–1930, including two churches, the only synagogue in Phillips County, and the county's oldest public building, the 1879 Helena Library and Museum. Most of the residences in the district were built between 1900 and the 1920s. Although most of the residential architecture is Arts and Crafts in style, it includes two fine Queen Anne Victorians: the Moore House at 608 Perry and the William Nicholas Straub House at 531 Perry.
The Governor's Mansion Historic District is a historic district covering a large historic neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and its borders were increased in 1988 and again in 2002. The district is notable for the large number of well-preserved late 19th and early 20th-century houses, and includes a major cross-section of residential architecture designed by the noted Little Rock architect Charles L. Thompson. It is the oldest city neighborhood to retain its residential character.
Potterstown is an unincorporated community along the border of Clinton and Readington townships in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
The Canton Center Historic District encompasses the historic rural town center of Canton, Connecticut. Extending mainly along Connecticut Route 179, near the geographic town center, is a well-preserved example of a rural agricultural center in Connecticut, a role served until about 1920. The district includes many examples of Late Victorian and Greek Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
Turner is an unincorporated community in Cypress Township, Phillips County, Arkansas, United States. The community is located at the intersection of Arkansas Highway 316 and the end of a concurrency between Arkansas Highway 1/Arkansas Highway 39. The Cottage Home Historic District is a historic district and neighborhood located on the near east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. A small portion of Cottage Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places while a larger area is listed on the state and local levels. Known for its preponderance of "cottage-style" homes built with strong Victorian influences, Cottage Home has historically been a working class neighborhood. Numerous industrial buildings are also scattered throughout the district, providing a base of economic activity. Today, however, many of these buildings are vacant, providing a special challenge to preservation and urban renewal efforts.

The Catlin Court Historic District, established in 1914, is significant for its historic association with an important period in the development of the city of Glendale, Arizona, United States.
The Old County Road South Historic District is a rural historic district encompassing a well-preserved collection of 18th and early 19th-century rural farm properties in Francestown, New Hampshire. It includes nine houses, whose construction dates from 1774 to 1806, and the only two extant 18th-century saltbox-style houses in the town. There is also a Cape-style house built using the relatively rare vertical-plank method of framing, and there are several surviving 19th-century barns. The district covers 500 acres (200 ha) along all or part of Old County Road South, Pratt (Clark) Road, and Birdsall Road. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
The Hickman House is a historic house at 3568 Mt. Holly Road, in rural Ouachita County, Arkansas, south of Camden. The single story frame house was built in 1898, probably by George Edward Hickman, whose father John was one of the county's early settlers. The house is in Folk Victorian style; it has an L-shaped plan, sheathed in original weatherboard. Its principal ornamentation is in the chamfered posts of its porch, which also has sawn fretwork. The house faces east, and is set about 150 feet (46 m) back from the road; its front facade has two windows above the porch, and two that open onto it. There is a "dog-trot" style barn about 150 feet (46 m) southwest of the house.
The Kate Turner House is a historic house at 709 West Main Street in Magnolia, Arkansas.
The Richardson-Turner House is a historic house at 1469 Arkansas Highway 1 in Lexa, Arkansas. It is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, built in 1894 by Dr. Willis Moss Richardson. It is one of the most elaborate rural Queen Anne structures in Phillips County, with asymmetric massing, decorative brackets in the eaves, fish-scale shingles on the exterior, and an elaborate porch with a beaded spindlework balustrade and turned columns. The house originally had a tower, but this was removed in the 1930s, and the attic space was enlarged for living space in the 1940s.
The Maj. James Alexander Tappan House is a historic house at 727 Columbia Street in Helena, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, built in 1892 for James Tappan, a wealthy businessman from a prominent local family. The house is a fine Queen Anne Victorian, with a particularly elaborate porch with a spindled balustrade and delicately proportioned columns, which wraps around a turreted projection with a conical roof. The cornice is decorated with brackets and panels, and the exterior also features the use of decoratively-cut shingles. James Tappan operated a number of businesses, including coal supply and a hardware store, and was director of a local bank.
The Whittington Park Historic District encompasses a mainly residential area in northwestern Hot Springs, Arkansas. The district is centered on Whittington Park, a landscaped design of Frederick Law Olmsted built in the 1890s by the National Park Service. The park is lined to the north and south by a neighborhood built out in two phases, 1920–40 and 1950-1960s. These building periods are represented by a significant number of modest Craftsman and Ranch-style houses, built primarily for people of modest means. There are also several Queen Anne Victorians in the area, the most notable of which stands at 524 Whittington.
The Hanger Hill Historic District encompasses a collection of early 20th-century residential properties on the 1500 block of Welch Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Included are nine historic houses and one carriage barn, the latter a remnant of a property whose main house was destroyed by fire in 1984. The houses are all either Colonial Revival or Queen Anne Victorian, or share some stylistic elements of both architectural styles, and were built between 1906 and 1912. Six of the houses are distinctive in their execution of these styles using rusticated concrete blocks.
Nantmeal Village Historic District is an American unincorporated community and historic district located in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The district encompasses 740 acres with 69 contributing buildings and 9 other contributing sites and structures, all privately owned. The structures span from 1735 to 1934. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
Bowerstown is an unincorporated community in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey near the Morris Canal and the Pohatcong Creek. It was founded in 1829 by Jesse Vanetta and Michael B. Bowers with the building of an iron foundry. The Bowerstown Historic District, encompassing the village, was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 1996.
