Uepi is a classic raised barrier reef island, covered by rainforest, outlined by fringing reef and sandy beaches. The island is flanked by the warm lagoon waters on one side, and the oceanic depths (6,000 ft; 1,800 m) of "The Slot", a deep marine abyss, on the other. Uepi Island is approximately 2.5 km long and 300 metres wide. [1] Uepi is only 90 minutes from Honiara by plane and boat. [2]

Anuha Island Resort is located on Anuha Island in the Florida Group in the Solomon Islands and is pronounced Anuca by the locals. USS YP-422 was a United States Navy yard patrol (YP) boat that served the United States Navy in World War II from 1942 to 1943. Built in 1941 as the fishing trawler Mist, she was acquired by the US Navy in June 1942 and was converted for naval use by George Lawley & Son of Neponset, Massachusetts. She was commissioned on 28 July 1942 and was put into service to patrol the waters around the Boston Navy Yard. The vessel was lightly armed with a 3-inch gun and two .30 caliber machine guns.
Swallow Reef, also known as Malay: Pulau Layang-Layang; Vietnamese: Đá Hoa Lau; Mandarin Chinese: 燕子島; pinyin: Yànzi Dǎo; Celerio Reef, is an oceanic atoll of the Spratly Islands administered by Malaysia, which is situated approximately 300 kilometres (190 mi) northwest of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The atoll is about 7 km long and 2 km wide with a central lagoon. The part of the atoll above sea level is a reef on the south-east rim which had an original land area of approximately 6.2 hectares, but with reclaimed land now covers 35 hectares, measuring over 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) long and 200 m (656 ft) wide.
