American musician will.i.am has released four studio albums, one compilation, 59 singles (including 42 as a featured artist), nine promotional singles, and 58 music videos.

Contents

will.i.am's debut album, Lost Change , was released in October 2001 on Atlantic Records. The album spawned one single, "I Am". His second studio album, Must B 21 , was released on September 23, 2003. No singles were released from the album. His third album, Songs About Girls , was released on September 25, 2007. The album's first single was "I Got It from My Mama", which peaked at number 31 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album also spawned the singles, "Heartbreaker" and "One More Chance". His fourth studio album, #willpower , was released on April 19, 2013. Will.i.am released the single "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)", featuring American singer Jennifer Lopez and British musician Mick Jagger in 2012. It peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number three on the UK Singles Chart. Three singles have been released from #willpower: "This Is Love", topped the Irish and UK singles charts; "Scream & Shout" – a collaboration with American singer Britney Spears – which topped numerous singles charts worldwide and became his first solo single to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number three; and "#thatPOWER", with Canadian singer Justin Bieber.

Nelly has sold a total of 21,815,000 albums in the US as of June 2014, making him the fourth bestselling rap artist in the country.

The discography of Outkast, an American hip hop duo, consists of six studio albums, one compilation album, one soundtrack album, one video album, 32 singles, three promotional singles, and 21 music videos. In 1992, Outkast became the first hip hop act to be signed to the label LaFace Records; with their first studio album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (1994) that debuted at number 20 on the US Billboard 200. Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik spawned the commercially successful single "Player's Ball", which reached number 37 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Their following two albums, ATLiens (1996) and Aquemini (1998), were commercially successful in the United States; both albums peaked at number two on the Billboard 200, and were certified double-platinum by the RIAA. Three singles were released from each album; all three from ATLiens charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with "Elevators " peaking at number 12, making it the most successful. The lead single from Aquemini, "Rosa Parks", peaked at number 55 on the Billboard Hot 100: two more singles, "Skew It on the Bar-B" and "Da Art of Storytellin' ", were released from the album. In 1998, Outkast collaborated with hip hop group Goodie Mob on the single "Black Ice " and with rapper Cool Breeze on the single "Watch for the Hook"; the singles peaked at numbers 50 and 73 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

After signing to independent record label Rostrum Records at a young age, Khalifa released his first mixtape Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania, and his first studio album, Show and Prove (2006). Following the release of Show and Prove, Warner Bros. Records signed Khalifa in 2007 as part of a joint deal with Rostrum. At Warner, Khalifa released the singles "Youngin' on His Grind" and "Say Yeah". The latter became his first song to appear on a Billboard chart, peaking at number 20 on the US Hot Rap Songs. Disagreements with Warner over the release of a purported major-label debut album led Khalifa to departed from the label, and release his second studio album Deal or No Deal in 2009 on Rostrum Records alone.

American rapper J. Cole has released six studio albums, one live album, four compilation albums, three extended plays, three mixtapes, 58 singles, two promotional singles and twenty one music videos. J. Cole first took up rapping in his teens, collaborating with the local Fayetteville hip hop duo Bomm Sheltuh. The Come Up, his debut mixtape, was released on May 4, 2007, to positive reception. Following the release of The Come Up, J. Cole was contacted by American rapper Jay Z and subsequently signed to his record label Roc Nation. Cole released his second mixtape The Warm Up on June 15, 2009. "Lights Please", the first single from The Warm Up, peaked at number nine on the United States Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart and became Cole's first entry on a national record chart. He was later featured on "All I Want Is You", a 2010 single by American R&B singer Miguel – it peaked at number 58 on the US Billboard Hot 100. J. Cole's third mixtape Friday Night Lights was released on November 12, 2010.

He remained signed in a joint venture with A1 until his departure in favor of Epic in 2017.
