This is a list of properties and historic districts in Montana that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The state's more than 1,100 listings are distributed across all of its 56 counties.
Jobbers Canyon Historic District was a large industrial and warehouse area comprising 24 buildings located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, US. It was roughly bound by Farnam Street on the north, South Eighth Street on the east, Jackson Street on the south, and South Tenth Street on the west. In 1989, all 24 buildings in Jobbers Canyon were demolished, representing the largest National Register historic district loss to date.
The Great Northern Railway Buildings are a set of five building complexes in or near Glacier National Park in Montana. They were built by the Great Northern Railway during the period of the park's founding to provide a unified tourist experience to visitors to the park, using the Swiss chalet as a building model. The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company Warehouse is a historic formerly commercial building at 150 Bay Street in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. Built as a warehouse for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) in 1900, it is the major surviving remnant of a five-building complex of the nation's first major grocery store chain. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1978, and now houses a mix of residences and storage facilities.
The Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway (BCR&N) was a railroad that operated in the United States from 1876 to 1903. It was formed to take over the operations of the bankrupt Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Minnesota Railway, which was, in turn, the result of merging several predecessor lines, the construction of which began in 1869. The corporate headquarters were in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and it had operations in Iowa and in Minnesota. It was succeeded by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway.
The Blake McFall Company Building, also known as the Emmett Building, in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon, is a five-story commercial warehouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by McNaughton & Raymond of Portland and built in 1915, it was added to the register in 1990. The 100-by-200-foot structure is representative of a group of timber-framed loft warehouses built in the early 20th century on the east side of the Willamette River.
Issaquah station, also known as Issaquah Depot or the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway Depot, is a former railway station located in Issaquah, Washington, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1889 as a passenger station and freight warehouse for the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway (SLS&E), serving what was then known as Gilman, Washington. The town was renamed Issaquah around the turn of the century. Only a few years after the depot's opening, in the 1890s, the SLS&E was taken over by the Northern Pacific Railway.
The Miles City Main Post Office located at 106 N. Seventh St. in Miles City, Montana, is a historic post office building. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as U.S. Post Office-Miles City Main.
Darlington Industrial Historic District is a national historic district located at Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 12 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in an industrial section of Darlington. They were built between about 1890 and 1925. All of these buildings are located along the rights-of-way of the South Carolina Western Railway and the Charleston, Sumter and Northern Railroad since the industries each of these buildings served employed the services of the railroad. Among the prominent resources in the district are the Charleston, Sumter and Northern Railway Freight Station (1891), the Darlington Roller Mill (1899), Thomas and Howard Tobacco Warehouse ; and Price's Tobacco Warehouse, and a cotton warehouse.
The Burlington, Cedar Rapids, and Northern Railroad-Rock Rapids Station, Railroad Track and Bridge is a nationally recognized historic district located in Rock Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. At the time of its nomination the district included one contributing building and three contributing structures.
The Northern Pacific Railroad Settling Tanks in Glendive, Montana were built in 1905 by the Northern Pacific Railroad. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The listing included two contributing buildings and two contributing structures. It includes a caretaker's cottage built in about 1910. The site has also been known as Glendive City Shops, as they have been repurposed as city maintenance facilities.
The Northern Pacific Warehouse in Thompson Falls, Montana, also known as the Burlington Northern Warehouse, was built in 1900 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
The W. L. Adair General Mercantile Historic District is a 4 acres (1.6 ha) historic district in Polebridge in Flathead County, Montana which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It included five contributing buildings which were built during 1900–1914.
The Corey House, at 106 N. E St. in Bridger, Montana, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
The Forsman House, at 406 E. Carbon Ave. in Bridger, Montana, was built in 1907. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
Glidden House, at 112 N. E St. in Bridger, Montana, was built during 1906–07. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
Glidden Mercantile, at 102 N. Main in Bridger, Montana, was built in 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
The Gebo Barn, in Carbon County, Montana near Fromberg, Montana, was built during 1907 to 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
The Henry Gebo House, in Carbon County, Montana east of Bridger, Montana, was built in 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
