Xanthisma, common name sleepy-daisy, [3] is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. [1] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [3]

The generic name comes from the Greek "xanthos," "yellow", and "-ismos," "condition." [3] It was first described in 1836 from material collected in "The Mexican Province of Texas." [1]
