Zhang Chenglong (Chinese :张成龙; pinyin :Zhāng Chénglóng; born May 12, 1989) is a Chinese gymnast. [2]

He competed for the national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's artistic team all-around and helped win the team gold medal.

World Championships and Asian Games

At both the 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, in Rotterdam, and 2010 Asian Games, in Guangzhou, Zhang won gold with the Chinese Team, and was able to also win gold at the horizontal bar, in both international events, and gold at the floor exercise. Zou Kai, the Olympic and World Champion in these events was left out of the team that year.

At the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, in Tokyo, he again won gold in the Team competition, but couldn't retain his title on the horizontal bar, finishing second in the final to Zou Kai, who recaptured his title in that event. He also tied for second on parallel bars.

Summer Olympics

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Zhang helped the Chinese team win the gold medal in the Men's artistic team all-around. He also competed in event finals of horizontal bar and parallel bars but finished off the podium in both events.

At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the Chinese team that won bronze in the men's team event. [3]

Wataru Tanigawa is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He won a gold medal with the Japanese team at the 2024 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. At the 2022 World Championships, he won a silver medal in the team event and a bronze medal in the all-around. He also won team bronze medals at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. He is also the 2022 Asian Games vault champion and a two-time World University Games champion.

Tang Chia-hung is a Taiwanese artistic gymnast. He won the gold medal on the horizontal bar and the silver medal on the floor exercise at the 2018 Asian Games. He is the 2019 Summer Universiade horizontal bar champion. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and he won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics on the horizontal bar.

Daiki Hashimoto is a Japanese artistic gymnast. Widely regarded as the successor of Kohei Uchimura, he won two gold medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in all-around and horizontal bar, as well as a silver in team. His Tokyo individual gold medal win win made him the youngest Olympic All-Around champion, at age 19 years, 355 days. At the world championships, he has also won 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 1 bronze.

Illia Yuriiovych Kovtun is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2023 World all-around silver medalist and 2021 World all-around bronze medalist. At the European Championships he is the 2023 European champion on parallel bars as well as a one-time silver medalist and a three-time bronze medalist. Additionally he is a two-time junior world championships medalist.

Zhang Boheng is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics and won silver medals with the Chinese team and in the individual all-around. He also won a bronze medal on the horizontal bar. He is the 2021 World all-around champion and the 2022 World all-around silver medalist. He won three gold medals at the 2022 Asian Games and two gold medals at the 2021 World University Games.

The China men's national artistic gymnastics team represents China in FIG international competitions.

Su Weide is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He represented China at the 2024 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. He also won a silver medal with the Chinese team at the 2023 World Championships, where he also won a bronze medal on the horizontal bar. He received a gold medal as the team alternate at the 2022 World Championships. He won a bronze medal on the floor exercise at the 2023 Asian Championships.
