The Vietnam national football team represents Vietnam in men's international senior football and is controlled by the Vietnam Football Federation, the governing body of football in Vietnam. It has been nicknamed the Golden Star Warriors.
These are the official results of the Men's High Jump event at the 1993 IAAF World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. There were a total of 40 participating athletes, with two qualifying groups and the final held on Sunday August 22, 1993. The qualification mark was set at 2.29 metres.
The Netherlands competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. This was announced in an official statement on the NOC*NSF website. In the statement they named the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games as a highlight in sports to which a lot of sportspeople, coaches and the Dutch sports fans would look forward. The Netherlands aimed for a top 10 nations ranking in the Olympics as well as a top 25 ranking in the Paralympics; they ended up ranking 12th at the Games.
The women's tournament in ice hockey at the 2002 Winter Olympics was held in Provo and West Valley City, United States, from 11 to 21 February. Eight teams competed, seeded into two groups. Canada won the final by a score of 3–2 over the United States, who were awarded silver. The bronze medal game was won by Sweden with a 2–1 victory over Finland.
Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.
