Amici di Maria De Filippi known simply as Amici and known until 2003 as Saranno famosi is an Italian talent show. Created by Maria De Filippi, the show began in 2001 and has since aired annually. The show is produced by Fascino P.G.T. s.r.l. and is broadcast on Canale 5. Since the thirteenth edition, daytime and casting have been broadcast on the television network Real Time and on the online streaming platform Witty TV by Fascino.

Switzerland competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. Swiss athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games in the modern era, except for a partial boycott of the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne as a protest to the Soviet invasion of Hungary. The Swiss team consisted of 104 athletes, 59 men and 45 women, across seventeen sports.

The 2017 Swiss Indoors was a men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 48th edition of the tournament, and part of the 500 series of the 2017 ATP World Tour. It was held at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, from 23 October through 29 October 2017. The event was the final professional tennis tournament for Swiss player Marco Chiudinelli, who received wildcards into both the singles and the doubles draws. First-seeded Roger Federer won his eighth singles title at the event.

The 2018 Wimbledon Championships was a Grand Slam tennis tournament which took place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom. The main tournament began on Monday, 2 July 2018 and finished on Sunday, 15 July 2018. Novak Djokovic won the gentlemen's singles title and Angelique Kerber won the ladies' singles title.

It was the 2nd edition of the event for the men and the 1st edition of the Southern California Open for the women since 2015. The event is part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the 2022 ATP Tour and a WTA 500 event on the 2022 WTA Tour. It was held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, United States, from September 19 through September 25, 2022 for the men, and from October 10 through October 16, 2022 for the women.

The 2024 Internazionali di Tennis del Friuli Venezia Giulia is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It is the twenty-first edition of the tournament for men, which is part of the 2024 ATP Challenger Tour, and the ninth edition for women, which is part of the 2024 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It takes place in Cordenons, Italy, between 29 July and 11 August 2024.
