Vladimir Alexandrovich Ivanov is a Russian badminton player. He was the champion at the 2014 and 2021 European Championships, and also the 2016 All England Open partnering with Ivan Sozonov. They made history by becoming the first Russian pair to win the men's doubles title in each of those events. Ivanov competed at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Kristína Gavnholt is a Czech badminton player. She competed for Czech Republic at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
Ivan Andreyevich Sozonov is a Russian badminton player. He competed for Russia at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics. His current partner is Vladimir Ivanov. The duo's victories at the 2014 European Championships and 2016 All England Open rendered them as the first Russians to win the men's doubles in each of those tournaments.
Chou Tien-chen is a badminton player from Taiwan. He became the first local shuttler in 17 years to win the men's singles title of the Chinese Taipei Open in 2016 since Indonesian-born Fung Permadi won it in 1999. He won his first BWF Super Series title at the 2014 French Open, beating Wang Zhengming of China 10–21, 25–23, 21–19 in the finals. He is the record holder of three consecutive Bitburger Open Grand Prix Gold titles from 2012 till 2014.
Nozomi Okuhara is a Japanese badminton player. A former World's number 1 in the BWF rankings for the women's singles, she is well known for her speed, agility and endurance. She won a bronze at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and gold medal at the 2017 World Championships.
Kim Sa-rang is a South Korean badminton player. He competed at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
Sameer Verma is an Indian badminton player. He trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy, Hyderabad. Sameer is the brother of Indian badminton player Sourabh Verma.
Beiwen Zhang is a Chinese-born American badminton player who is a singles specialist.
Stefani Stoeva is a Bulgarian badminton player specializing in doubles. Her current partner is her older sister, Gabriela Stoeva. They competed at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. The duo together have won gold medals in the 2015 European Games and three successive European Championships in 2018, 2021 and 2022 editions. Stefani Stoeva has also won some individual titles in women's singles competition.
Angus Ng Ka-long is a badminton player from Hong Kong. He has a career-high ranking of 6th in the men's singles discipline. He won the 2016 Hong Kong Super Series and the 2020 Thailand Masters.
The U.S. International is an open international badminton tournament held in Orange County, California, United States. This tournament previously a Grand Prix level. In 2016, this tournament downgraded to BWF International Challenge level. In 2017, the tournament has both International Challenge and International Series event.
B. R. Sankeerth is a Canadian badminton player of Indian origin. Sankeerth started playing badminton when he was young in Karnataka, India. He had shown his potential as a badminton player by finishing as a runner-up at the U-13 SBM State-ranking junior badminton championship. He clinched two titles at the 2011 Indiranagar 5-Star State-ranking badminton tournament, and was selected to represent India at the 2014 World Junior Championships.
Ayako Sakuramoto is a Japanese badminton player from the Yonex team.
Yukiko Takahata is a Japanese badminton player from the Yonex team. In 2017, she became the women's doubles runner-up at the Osaka International tournament partnered with Ayako Sakuramoto. She won her first senior international title at the Spanish International tournament with Sakuramoto.
The 2018 All England Open, officially the Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2018, was a badminton tournament which took place at Arena Birmingham in England from 14 to 18 March 2018. It had a total purse of $1 million.

The Yonex Thailand Open was a badminton tournament which took place at the Impact Arena in Thailand from 12 to 17 January 2021. It had a total purse of $1,000,000.
The 2022 Japan Open was a badminton tournament which took place at Maruzen Intec Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan, from 30 August to 4 September 2022 and had a total purse of $750,000.
