A&E was a Spanish and Portuguese basic cable and satellite television channel that carried reality television programming produced by A&E USA, owned by The History Channel Iberia in a joint venture between A&E Networks and AMC Networks International Iberia. It had feeds in Spanish available in Spain, and in Portuguese available in Portugal and Africa. [1] On April 18, 2018, it was replaced by the Iberian version of Blaze. [2]

Odisseia or Canal Odisseia is a Portuguese basic cable and satellite television channel that features documentaries. It is the oldest and one of the most notable of the genre in Portugal and, for most of its history, it was a single Iberian channel for Portugal and Spain with feeds in Portuguese to Portugal in a list of notable channels owned by Multicanal, including some of the oldest and most popular cable channels such as Canal Hollywood and Canal Panda. Canal Panda is an Iberian pay television channel, the first one dedicated to kids programming, mostly animated series for children aged 6–14. The channel was founded in 1996 as Panda Club in Spain and Portugal, but the name was changed to Canal Panda in 1997. Digital terrestrial television in Portugal started on 29 April 2009 with currently 7 free-to-air (FTA) channels. In the Azores and Madeira Islands, the respective regional channels are also available. In June 2010 TDT coverage reached 83% of the population and was expected to reach 100% by the end of 2010. The analog switch-off occurred on 26 April 2012. The already four existing analog FTA channels simulcasted in DVB-T, MPEG-4/H.264 (digital), and PAL (analog).
