Port Allen is a city in, and the parish seat of, West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, it is bordered by Interstate 10 and US Highway 190. The population was 5,180 at the 2010 census, down from 5,278 in 2000. It is part of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Marian Anderson House is a historic home located in the Southwest Center City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built circa 1870 in the same neighborhood where opera singer and civil rights advocate Marian Anderson was born 27 years later, this two-story, brick rowhouse dwelling was designed in the Italianate style. Purchased by Anderson in 1924, the same year she became the first African-American concert artist to record spirituals for a major American recording company, she continued to reside here until 1943. The house is currently home to the Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society.
The Paul Building is a high-rise office building located at 1018 Preston Avenue in Houston, Texas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 6, 1979. Completed in 1907, the building has been home to a wide range of businesses and professionals. It housed the United States District Court in 1910, and with its proximity to the county courthouse, it became a popular location for attorneys. Its tenants have also included a newspaper, and the Y.M.C.A. The building changed its name to the Hoffman Building in 1918 and then to the Turnbow Building in 1927. It has been known as the Republic Building since 1923.

Originally built in 1856 as the Texas Asylum for the Blind, the complex was used for a variety of purposes through the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It was acquired by the University of Texas after World War I and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
