The City of Glendale is a home rule municipality located in an exclave of Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 4,613 at the 2020 United States Census. Glendale is an enclave of the City and County of Denver and is the most densely populated municipality in Colorado. The city is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor.
Prospect Park is a historic neighborhood within the University community of the U.S. city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The area is bounded by the Mississippi River to the south, the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota to the east, the Burlington Northern railroad yard to the north, and the Stadium Village commercial district of the University of Minnesota to the west. The neighborhood is composed of several districts which include the East River Road area. The 1913 Prospect Park Water Tower is a landmark and neighborhood icon.

Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses 2.1 acres (0.85 ha), and as of the end of 2005 had 2,064 interments. It is closed to new interments.
Millstone Bluff is a natural bluff in Pope County, Illinois, United States, located near the community of Glendale. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its archaeological significance, Millstone Bluff is one of three National Register sites in Pope County, along with the Golconda Historic District and part of the Kincaid Mounds State Historic Site.
Grand Central Airport is a former airport in Glendale, California. Also known as Grand Central Air Terminal (GCAT), the airport was an important facility for the growing Los Angeles suburb of Glendale in the 1920s and a key element in the development of United States aviation. The terminal, located at 1310 Air Way, was built in 1928 and still exists, owned since 1997 by The Walt Disney Company as a part of its Grand Central Creative Campus (GC3). Three hangars also remain standing. The location of the single concrete 3,800-foot (1,200 m) runway has been preserved, but is now a public street as the runway was dug up and converted into Grand Central Avenue.

The district encompasses 13 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in an exclusively residential section of Hammond. It developed between about 1905 and 1926, and includes notable example of Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Prairie School and Bungalow / American Craftsman styles of residential architecture. The houses are arranged along a parkway with Glendale Park in the center.

The Glendale Woman's Club was first organized in 1901 as a “Self Culture Club”, the primary aim of the Woman’s Club was self-improvement from a literary standpoint. They raised money for the first library and city parks. In 1898 the lumber company moved to a new two-story office building; Mr. Messenger could no longer manage the library. A library association was formed. The women’s club bought up stock and then assigned members to vote. Mrs. May Catlin Hanson, through club member Mrs. Lafe Myers, donated a building which was placed in park to house the library until a new one could be built. Mrs. Robert Clark and Mrs. J.M. (Mary) Pearson took the lead. Mary took a class on “Library work” in Phoenix to be able to “start it out right.”. By 1907, membership had increased to fifty members and it became impossible to continue meeting in homes, so the group began to think of acquiring its own clubhouse. On February 21, 1912, exactly 1 week after Arizona became the 48th state, the Club was recognized 501c3 non profit corporation with 85 members. The Glendale Woman's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
