The Bank of Napa, at 903 Main St. and 908 Brown St. in Napa, California was built in 1923. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. [1]

It is a two-story building stretching for a block, consisting of an original Classical Revival-style commercial building built in 1923 plus a large stuccoed Art Deco annex added in 1934. [2]

A large portion the buildings in the historic district were built during the Florida land boom of the 1920s, when Miami experienced rapid population growth. Many of the older structures from before the 1920s, were smaller scale buildings and homes from the Miami pioneer era of the mid and late-19th century. Palm Cottage, built in 1897 is a home from the pioneer era that is still standing, however, few of these original homes remain.

Beringer Vineyards is a large winery in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1876, Beringer Vineyards is "the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley", and is listed under both the National Register of Historical Places and as a California Historical Landmark. In 1934 it was the first California winery to offer public tours and wine tasting following the repeal of Prohibition. In 1939, Beringer invited attendees of the Golden Gate International Exposition to visit the winery; the winery also invited Hollywood stars including Clark Gable, Charles Laughton, and Carole Lombard to visit.

Alexandria Hotel and Annex United States historic place

The Alexandria Hotel and Annex, also known as Plaza Hotel and Annex, is located at 840-844 Brown St. in Napa, California. Built in 1910, the hotel was a work of architect William H. Corlett. The hotel's design exemplifies the Mission Revival and Mediterranean Revival styles, which were both popular in California in the early 20th century. The design features three square towers on the street facing corners, overhanging eaves, and both slanted bay and rounded windows. The hotel's annex is older than the hotel and was redesigned to match the hotel's architecture when the hotel was built.

St. Helena Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1866 by Fr. Peter Deyaert, it remains an active congregation in the Diocese of Santa Rosa. The church, like the town and nearby Mount Saint Helena, is dedicated to St Helena of Constantinople.

Goodman Library United States historic place

The Goodman Library is a historic library located at 1219 1st St. in Napa, California. Built in 1901, the library was paid for by George E. Goodman and built on land donated by Goodman. Architect Luther M. Turton designed the building in the Richardson Romanesque style, which can be seen in its use of rusticated stone, round arch windows, and massive scale. The design represented a shift in Napa architecture, which was mainly Victorian prior to the library's construction.

Sam Kee Laundry Building United States historic place

The Sam Kee Laundry Building, also known as the Pfeiffer Building, is a historic building located at 1245 Main St. in Napa, California. Built in 1875, the building is the oldest stone building and commercial building in Napa. The building has a generally simple design topped by a decorative Italianate cornice. As of 1880, the building was part of a brewery, which may have been the first brewery in Napa; it has since housed a boarding house, a saloon, and a laundry. The building currently houses the Vintner's Collective, a wine tasting bar.

Napa County Courthouse Plaza United States historic place

The Napa County Courthouse Plaza is a complex in Napa, California, which consists of the Napa County Courthouse and the Hall of Records. The two buildings occupy an entire city block, which includes open areas and landscaping to create the site's plaza setting. The High Victorian Italianate courthouse was built in 1878 to replace the original 1856 courthouse. The courthouse continues to serve as the seat of Napa County government. The 1916 Hall of Records is a federally sponsored records building designed by William H. Corlett. The Renaissance Revival building represents an early use of reinforced concrete as a building material; the material became popular nationwide in the 1920s.
