Bender is a former settlement in Fresno County, California. [1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Lanare, [2] at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m). [1] Bender still appeared on maps as of 1927. [1]

Lanare is currently served by the Riverdale Post Office, zip code 93656, and students attend public school in Riverdale.
