Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (BACA) [1] is a coeducational academy school in Brighton. It opened on 1 September 2010.
The school replaced Falmer High School and is part of the Aldridge Education multi-academy trust. Dylan Davies became Brighton Aldridge Community Academy's second Principal succeeding Phil Hogg on her retirement, taking up the role in January 2014.
In October 2010 the school announced a partnership with Sussex Cricket League to promote cricket in the area. [2] The Aldridge Cricket Academy was subsequently formed which allows sixth form students from Brighton Aldridge Community Academy or Portslade Aldridge Community Academy to combine A level studies with an intensive cricket development programme. [3]
Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, Portslade Aldridge Community Academy and Latest TV jointly provide a digital media academy to students called the Brighton Digital Media Academy (BDMA), which launched in September 2015. [4]
The school was rated "Good" in all categories by Ofsted in January 2017. [5] An Ofsted inspection in March 2022 rated the school "Inadequate", the lowest rating. [6]
The building was designed by architects Feilden Clegg Bradley and constructed by building firm Kier Group. The first phase of the new building was finished in September 2010 and all buildings were completed by September 2011.

Bury St Edmunds County Upper School is a 13 to 19 co-educational comprehensive high-performing academy part of the Bury St Edmunds All-Through Trust, comprising County Upper School, Horringer Court School, Westley School and Barrow CEVC and Tollgate Primaries. It is one of three 13-18 schools serving the town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England and its surrounding villages. Pupils enter Year 9 primarily from three catchment middle schools in Bury St Edmunds but pupils are drawn widely from across the villages and towns of West Suffolk. The school is often over-subscribed with 266 first-choice applicants in 2009/10, 287 in 2010/11, 282 for 2011/12, 279 for 2012/13 and 268 for 2014/15 against a LEA Planned Admission Number of 260. In September 2013 the number of pupils on roll was 992 and it is expected that will remain relatively unchanged for the foreseeable future. Attached to the main school is a Sixth Form, which at present stands at around 209 students spread between Years 12 and 13. The school is located on Beetons Way, on the outskirts of town, next to St Benedict's Roman Catholic Upper School, with which it used to collaborate in the sixth form.

It was rated Good by Ofsted in December 2016. The school has around 900 pupils. It is part of the Aldridge Education multi-academy trust.
Falmer High School was a community mixed-sex non-denominational comprehensive school for pupils aged 11 to 16 in Brighton, East Sussex, England. It closed on 31 August 2010 and was replaced by Brighton Aldridge Community Academy on the same site, sponsored by Rod Aldridge.

The Keep is a purpose-built archive and historical resource centre which stores, conserves and gives the public access to the records of its three managing partners: The East Sussex Record Office, The University of Sussex Special Collections, and the Royal Pavilion and Museums Local History Collections. The Keep also houses the library and office of The Sussex Family History Group, functions as headquarters of Friends of The Keep Archives, and holds the Historic Environment Record database for East Sussex. From November 2018, it has also functioned as the South East Hub for the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project for The British Library. It was funded by East Sussex County Council, the City Council of neighbouring Brighton and Hove and the University of Sussex, and was built on land close to the university in the Moulsecoomb area of Brighton and Hove. The building, constructed with a budget of £19 million, opened on 31 October 2013, superseding the former East Sussex Record Office in the county town of Lewes.
Fowey River Academy is a co-educational secondary school with academy status, serving a large and diverse catchment area including Fowey the nearby towns of St Blazey and Lostwithiel and surrounding villages. The school currently has a 'Requires Improvement' Ofsted Rating. The school was also featured in a ‘damning’ BBC Panorama documentary, that looked into the way two academy trusts had spent millions of pounds. Serious questions were raised about how money was spent on improvements, as well as claims that school governors were denied financial reports and that there was a lack of local scrutiny over the way the school was run. Fowey River Academy was reportedly charged at least £300,000 for LED lighting that its chairman of governors said was not installed.
UTC@harbourside was a University Technical College for students aged 14–18 located in Newhaven, East Sussex, England which opened in September 2015. It specialised in science, technology, engineering and maths, leading to academic and vocational qualifications. The college closed in July 2019 due to financial issues and a lack of students.
