Vermont Square Branch Library is the oldest branch library in the Los Angeles Public Library system. Located about a mile southwest of the University of Southern California campus, in the Vermont Square district, it was built in 1913 with a grant from Andrew Carnegie. One of three surviving Carnegie libraries in Los Angeles, it has been designated a Historic-Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Quinsigamond Branch Library, now part of the Quinsigamond Elementary School. is an historic school building and former library at 14 Blackstone River Road in Worcester, Massachusetts. The building was originally built as a Carnegie Library in 1913 with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie, who was present to lay the cornerstone that year. It as since been converted into part of the Quingisamond Elementary School. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
The Doris Foley Library for Historical Research is a reference and research library in Nevada City, in Nevada County, California. Built in 1907, the Romanesque Revival style building is currently a branch of the Nevada County Library System.
The Hamilton Grange Branch of the New York Public Library is a historic library building located in Hamilton Heights, New York City. It was designed by McKim, Mead & White and built in 1905–1906. The branch was one of 65 built by the New York Public Library with funds provided by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, 11 of them designed by McKim, Mead & White. It is a three-story-high, five-bay-wide building faced in deeply rusticated gray limestone in an Italian Renaissance style. The building features round arched openings on the first floor and bronze lamps and grilles.
The Ferndale Public Library was built in 1909 as Carnegie Grant Library on donated land and supported by the city of Ferndale, California, until becoming part of the Humboldt County Library system in 1915. It is the only Carnegie Library in northwestern California still functioning as a Public Library.

The Free Public Library of Petaluma is a research library and history museum at 20 Fourth Street in Petaluma, Sonoma County, California, US. Built in 1904 as a Carnegie Free Library, it was designed by Brainerd Jones as his first major commission before the architect gained regional recognition. In the 1970s, it was re-purposed as a research library and historical museum, known as the Petaluma Historical Library and Museum. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Hollister Carnegie Library is located on 375 Fifth Street in Hollister, California, US. Established in 1912 as a Carnegie library, decades later, it was re-purposed as a city hall. The building is part of the downtown's National Register-listed historic district, and was entered itself into the National Register on March 26, 1992.
The Exeter Public Library is a Carnegie library located at 309 S. E St. in Exeter, California. The library was built in 1916 with a $5000 grant from the Carnegie Foundation; it was one of six Carnegie libraries built in Tulare County. Exeter's library program had been started in 1910 by the city Women's Club but lacked its own building prior to the construction of the Carnegie Library. The library was designed in the Mission Revival style by A. Merrill Bowser, whose plans were selected from three designs submitted to James Bertram. The design includes a low hip roof, a gabled parapet, and a wide entrance with panels of glass to the sides of the door. A Union Jack motif is used in the windows and the transom above the front door. The building served as the city's library until 1976, when it became a community center. It is one of two surviving Carnegie libraries in Tulare County, the other being the Orosi Branch Library.
The Cadillac Carnegie Public Library, now the Wexford County Historical Society Museum, was constructed as a Carnegie Library located at 127 Beech Street in Cadillac, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1980 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

It was built in 1914-1915, and is a one-story, Tudor Revival style brick building. The building has a high-pitched slate gable roof and a polygonal bay with leaded glass windows and entry porch. The building was constructed with a $16,000 grant from the Carnegie Foundation.

It is located at 6 Carver Street in downtown Vinalhaven, in a small architecturally distinguished Prairie School building built in 1906 with financial support from Andrew Carnegie. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Andrew Carnegie Library in Corona, California in Riverside County, California, at 8th and Main Streets, was a Carnegie library built in 1905–06. Known also as the Old Corona Public Library, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The building was demolished in 1978, but apparently still remains listed on the National Register.
