Categories

The decorations, medals and honorary titles awarded by the government of the Macau Special Administrative Region of China can be divided into medals of honour, medals of merit, distinguished service medals, and honorary titles. [1]

Medals of honor

Grand Lotus (大蓮花榮譽勳章; Medalhas de honra de Grande Lótus), the highest award under the MSAR honors and awards system, recognizes lifelong and highly significant contributions to the wellbeing of Macau.

Golden Lotus (金蓮花榮譽勳章; Medalhas de honra de Lótus de Ouro) is awarded for distinguished services to the community or who have rendered public or voluntary services of high merit.

Order of Prince Henry State civil order of Portugal

Order of the Sacred Tripod Award

The Order of the Sacred Tripod (寶鼎勳章), also referred to as the Order of the Precious Tripod or Pao Ting, is a military award of the Republic of China. It was created on 15 May 1929 by Chiang Kai-shek for significant contributions to national security. The order is organized into nine grades. The central design of the order's insignia is an image of a tripod surrounded by golden rays. The symbolism of this is that as the tripod is considered a national treasure, so too is the recipient of the order.

The Order of Entrepreneurial Merit is the most junior of the Portuguese civil orders of merit, and is intended to distinguish those who have rendered, as an entrepreneur or worker, outstanding service in promoting appreciation or services in an economic sector. The Order has three categories: Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial; each of these correspond to specific related to the associated economic sectors, which is also reflected in the insignia of each category.

The Order of Merit of the Portuguese Royal House is a dynastic order of knighthood for extraordinary services rendered to the Portuguese Royal House and for outstanding Merit in the Monarchist Cause.
