Orders, decorations and medals of Republika Srpska is a system of awards in Republika Srpska. There are 15 orders and 7 medals.
The president of Republika Srpska confers decorations and awards of Republika Srpska on his/her own initiative or at the suggestion of the Office of orders of Republika Srpska (Serbo-Croatian : Канцеларија ордена Републике Српске, Kancelarija ordena Republike Srpske).
Decorations and awards can be conferred on citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina or foreign nationals, legal entities as well as units of the Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Interior.
Awards are regulated by the "Statutes of orders and medals of Republika Srpska" (Статути ордена и медаља Републике Српске, Statuti ordena i medalja Republike Srpske). By this statute some decorations have a patron saint and a slava. [1] [2]
Beside state decorations some organizations and institutions of Republika Srpska have their own system of awards.

The Constitution of Republika Srpska is the chief legal act of Republika Srpska, an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. The constitution was delivered by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska on 28 February 1992, but had to be revised after the Dayton Agreement was signed. It provides the set of laws and principles for the territory, and among its finest functions, it defines the internal organization of the Republic, the function of the official institutions, and the rights and freedoms for its citizens.
Kupres, also known as Kupres Republike Srpske is a municipality in western Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is bordering the region of Bosanska Krajina to the north. The Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republika Srpska is highest representative institution in the Republika Srpska of science and art founded in 1996. It has four departments – Department of Social Sciences, Department of Literature and Arts, Department of Natural, Mathematical and Technical Sciences and the Department of Medical Sciences. It is based in Banja Luka.
Order of the Republika Srpska is the highest decoration of Republika Srpska. It was established on April 25, 1993 by the decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. The medal may be awarded on a necklace or strips with the order star worn on the breast. Like every order in Republika Srpska, the Order of Republika Srpska also has a statute defining terms about the order.
The Honour Unit of Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska is a ceremonial unit of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska.
