Eurovision:You Decide is the most recent name of a BBC television programme that was broadcast annually to select the United Kingdom's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. The show had previously gone under several other names,including Festival of British Popular Songs (1957),Eurovision Song Contest British Final (1959–1960),The Great British Song Contest (1996–1999),Eurovision:Making Your Mind Up (2004–2007),Eurovision:Your Decision (2008),and Eurovision:Your Country Needs You (2009–2010),but was known,for most of its history,as A Song for Europe.
"Waterloo" is the first single from the Swedish pop group ABBA's second album of the same name,and their first under the Atlantic label in the US. This was also the first single to be credited to the group performing under the name ABBA. The title and lyrics reference the 1815 Battle of Waterloo,and use it as a metaphor for a romantic relationship. The Swedish version of the single was backed with the Swedish version of "Honey,Honey",while the English version featured "Watch Out" on the B-side.

She first received mainstream recognition after releasing the single "Better Days" in 2021,a collaboration with Swedish music collective Neiked and American rapper Polo G,which went on to chart in the top 40 in both the United Kingdom and United States. She represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool,with top 10 hit,"I Wrote a Song". In the competition final,the song finished in 25th place with 24 points. She released her debut studio album Sorry I'm Late in September 2023.

In the Eurovision final,"I Wrote a Song" finished in 25th place with 24 points.
The United Kingdom is set to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö,Sweden. The British broadcaster,the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC),internally selected Olly Alexander as the country's entrant for the 2024 contest with the song "Dizzy".
