Natchitoches is a small city and the parish seat of Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States. Established in 1714 by Louis Juchereau de St. Denis as part of French Louisiana, the community was named after the indigenous Natchitoches people.

It is located at 21997 Louisiana Highway 23 in West Pointe à la Hache, in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. This plantation was once worked by enslaved people. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 18, 1998.

It was built in c.1847 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 13, 1977. The architecture is an Anglo-Creole type Louisiana plantation cottage decorated in Greek Revival style.
Edgewood, also known as the John Boyd House, is a historic home located at Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1839 and is a two-story, five-bay, brick dwelling with a gable roof in the Greek Revival style. The entrance features a semi-elliptical transom and sidelights. The building has a two-story rear ell. The property includes a small log slave cabin.
The Theophilus Crawford House is a historic house at 53 Hickory Ridge Road South in Putney, Vermont. Built about 1808, it is one of the oldest brick houses in Putney, and one of its finest examples of Federal architecture in brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. Its current owners operate it as the Hickory Ridge House Bed and Breakfast Inn.
Walnut Grove is an historic Greek Revival-style house in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The house was built in 1840 on land that was purchased by Jonathan Johnson in 1829. Markings on the exposed oak beams indicate that Walnut Grove was built by William A. Jennings. Jennings was recognized as a master builder of Greek Revival homes during that period. Walnut Grove was added to the National Register of Historic Places in August 2004.

James "Jim" Bowie, served in the Battle of the Alamo. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 29, 1987. It was demolished in 2010.

The Poplar Grove Plantation, also once known as Popular Grove Plant and Refining Company, is a historic building, site and cemetery, the plantation is from the 1820s and the manor house was built in 1884, located in Port Allen in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. The site served as a sugar plantation worked by enslaved African Americans, starting in the 1820s by James McCalop. Starting in 1903, the site was owned by the Wilkinson family for many generations.
