"Ekitiibwa kya Buganda" ("The Pride of Buganda") is the official anthem of the Kingdom of Buganda. It was composed in 1939 by Rev Polycarp Kakooza. [1]
The lyrics are in the Luganda language. Traditionally, the full version is only sung in the presence of the Kabaka. Otherwise the short version, consisting of verses 1 and 4 plus the chorus, is sung. [2]

Jagte Raho is a 1956 Hindi/Bengali film, directed by Amit Maitra and Sombhu Mitra, written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas, and produced by and starring Raj Kapoor. The song is composed by Naushad, written by Shakeel Badayuni, and sung by Lata Mangeshkar with a chorus. It is picturised on Madhubala, who plays the role of beautiful courtesan Anarkali in the film. It is shot in technicolour.
The Ugandan Premier League, also known as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations. The league was previously known as the Uganda Super League but changed in the 2014–15 season after new management taking over. The league's roots date back to 1968 when the National First Division League was established.
Julie is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan and written by Chakrapani. The film stars Lakshmi in the title role. It also stars Vikram Makandar, Nadira, Rita Bhaduri, Om Prakash, Utpal Dutt and Sridevi, in her first significant Hindi role. The film was a critical and commercial success. Despite the film's success, Lakshmi felt comfortable in choosing to do mostly South Indian movies. Julie was also a musical blockbuster with critics alike and with award-winning music by Rajesh Roshan, which won him the Filmfare Award for the year. According to film and music expert Rajesh Subramanian Dil kya kare was penned by lyricist Anand Bakshi in less than ten minutes when the tune was played to him by composer Rajesh Roshan and his assistants. had one of the first English songs in an Indian film, "My Heart is Beating", sung by Preeti Sagar. It is a remake of a Malayalam blockbuster film Chattakari (1974), which also starred Lakshmi as the female lead making her Malayalam and Hindi film debuts in both versions respectively. She would star in yet another remake, the Telugu film Miss Julie Prema Katha (1975). She did not act in the Kannada remake, Julie, released in 2006, which had Ramya in the title role as Julie and Dino Morea as the leading man. She also declined the role of Julie's mother in the Malayalam remake titled Chattakari (2012), stating that she wanted the audiences to remember her as the young and beautiful Julie; the title role went to Shamna Kasim. Actress Urvashi portrayed the role of Julie in its Tamil remake Oh Maane Maane (1984). The remake and adaptation rights of this film are now owned by Glamour Eyes Films.
"Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" is a song written by Izumi Sakai and Tetsurō Oda, originally recorded and released as the fourth single by Japanese rock band Field of View on March 11, 1996. The song serves as the opening theme to the anime series Dragon Ball GT, and the ending theme to the theatrical film Dragon Ball: The Path to Power. The single reached number four on the Oricon Singles Chart, and sold over 400,000 copies. Sakai released a cover of "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" with her group Zard on their 1996 album Today Is Another Day.
"Majulah Singapura" is the national anthem of Singapore. Composed by Zubir Said in 1958 as a theme song for official functions of the City Council of Singapore, the song was selected in 1959 as the nation's anthem when it attained self-government. Upon full independence in 1965, "Majulah Singapura" was formally adopted as Singapore's national anthem. By law, the anthem must be sung with Malay lyrics, but there are authorised translations of the lyrics of the anthem in Singapore's three other official languages: English, Mandarin and Tamil.

"God Defend New Zealand" is one of two national anthems of New Zealand, the other being "God Save the King". Legally the two have equal status, but "God Defend New Zealand" is more commonly used. Originally written as a poem, it was set to music as part of a competition in 1876. Over the years its popularity increased, and it was eventually named the second national anthem in 1977. It has English and Māori lyrics, with slightly different meanings. Since the late 1990s, the usual practice when performed in public is to perform the first verse of the national anthem twice, first in Māori and then in English.

Bombay is the soundtrack to the 1995 Indian film of the same name, with eight tracks composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was directed by Mani Ratnam, and stars Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala, while the soundtrack album was released on 24 December 1994 by Pyramid. The Indian film was originally a Tamil film dubbed into Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. The soundtrack was thus released in multiple languages. The lyrics for the Tamil version were written by Vairamuthu, except for the song "Halla Gulla", which was written by Vaali. The lyrics for the Hindi and Telugu versions were written by Mehboob and Veturi, respectively.
Football is the national sport in Uganda. The Uganda national football team, nicknamed The Cranes, is the national team of Uganda and is controlled by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations. They have never qualified for the FIFA World Cup; their best finish in the African Nations Cup was second in 1978.

The Order of the Shield and Spears(Ekitiibwa ky'Amafumu n'Engabo) is the Kingdom of Buganda's highest honour. It was established by Daudi Cwa II of Buganda, Kabaka of the Buganda, for the purpose of recognizing excellent service to the kingdom. It is awarded annually by the Kabaka of Buganda.
Josephine Kakooza was a Ugandan police officer, Police Band leader and former Commissioner of Police (CP). In December 2011 she was named the Director of Music in the Uganda Police Force making her the first woman to occupy this position. She was also a composer and played the flute.
