The Fiat Mobi is a city car produced by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat since 2016; is available exclusively for the South American market. The Mobi hatchback in the A-segment manufactured in Betim, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It was released on 13 April 2016. [2] This Brazilian project was derived from the same platform as the second generation Fiat Uno, in addition to the engine and transmission. [3]
It was created to be a direct competitor of Volkswagen Up!, with similar dimensions and characteristics, including the rear glass cover in the Up! since 2011.
In November 2014, rumours began about an alleged city car, which was codenamed "Project 341" or "X1H", which would be launched by Fiat in the beginning of 2016. [4] On 13 April 2016, Fiat presented the Mobi's first official prototype, after various images released on the Internet and the information that had already appeared on some automotive magazines, confirming the rumours about this new vehicle. It replaces the Fiat Mille, and replace the basic version of Fiat Uno called the Vivace [4] and would come to compete with the other market leaders in the A-segment of the market with other models like Volkswagen up! and the Renault Kwid. The "X1H," which would also be derived from the Uno, would share its platform, engine, and transmission. [3]
It is the second smallest Fiat for the South American market, with dimensions even lower than the Fiat Uno and Fiat Palio, only being larger than the Fiat 500.
The only engine available initially is the four-cylinder FIRE Evo Flex 1.0 75 HP ethanol blend, which yields 75 or 73 hp (55 or 54 kW) t 6250 rpm when fueled with ethanol and gasoline respectively, and 97 and 93 N⋅m (72 and 69 lb⋅ft) of torque at 3850 rpm. The FIRE engine was updated in 2022 to comply with the PROCONVE Level 7 emission protocol.
The Mobi initially shipped with a five-speed manual transmission, [5] which was replaced with an automated manual gearbox along with the release of a new 1.0L three cylinder Firefly engine. [6] The exterior of Mobi is somewhat similar to that of the Fiat Panda, but has a front grille inspired by Fiat Fullback, Fiat Toro, and Fiat Tipo.
It's offered in three different versions called Mobi Easy, Mobi Easy Pack Top, and Mobi Way, each with different internal and technological features. Prices start at $231.700 Argentinian pesos (around $13,000). [7]

The Mobi in its most basic Latin American version with 2 airbags and no ESC received 1 star for adult occupants and 2 stars for infants from Latin NCAP in 2017. [9]

The Fiat Siena is a subcompact car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat from 1996 to 2022. It is the four-door sedan version of the Fiat Palio, a supermini car especially designed for developing countries. It was introduced for the first time in South America, and was produced in various countries worldwide. Later, in 2002, a similar car based on the same platform was developed for the European market, the Fiat Albea. It replaced the Siena in these European markets, such as Poland and Turkey, where the original model was previously sold.
The Fiat Strada is a subcompact pickup truck (B-segment) produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat since 1998. It is mainly produced in Brazil and marketed throughout Latin America, whereas the first-generation Strada was also assembled in South Africa and exported to Europe from Brazil.

It is the first and only Hyundai model strategically developed and produced exclusively for the Brazilian market. Offered with a range of flex-fuel engines, it was not exported to other Latin American countries until 2016, when it began to be sold in Paraguay and Uruguay, and eventually in Mexico and Colombia in 2022.
The Jeep Renegade is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Stellantis under their Jeep marque. It was first shown to the public in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show and production started in late August of that year. The Renegade was the smallest vehicle currently marketed by Jeep, until the arrival of the Avenger. It slots between the Avenger and the Compass. It is based on the FCA Small Wide 4×4 platform which is also shared with other FCA models, including from Fiat and Alfa Romeo brands.

The Fiat Argo is a subcompact car (B-segment) by the Italian manufacturer Fiat, developed for the market in South America. It was presented in Brazil in May 2017, being sold as of June. It is a five-door hatchback that replaced the Fiat Punto and the Fiat Palio. The Argo was presented a year later than planned, and was developed to strengthen Fiat's offering in the subcompact (B) segment, traditionally an important one for Fiat.
The Fiat Cronos is a subcompact car released in February 2018 by the Italian automaker Fiat. It is a sedan for the Latin American market based on the Argo hatchback.
The Chevrolet Tracker is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors since 2019. Positioned as a successor to the Trax, it is produced in Brazil and Argentina for the Latin American market, and in China by SAIC-GM for the Chinese market. Despite the use of the Tracker name, the Tracker is not related to the model sold in North America as a rebadged Suzuki Escudo from the 1990s to the 2000s.
The Volkswagen Taigo is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) with a sloping roofline manufactured by the German automaker Volkswagen. Based on the Mk6 Polo, the Taigo is built on the Volkswagen Group MQB A0 platform.
The Volkswagen Taos is a compact crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen. It was first released in October 2018 as the Volkswagen Tharu in China, while the Taos was released in October 2020 as a restyled version of the Tharu for the North American, South American, and Russian markets. In the brand's lineup, the vehicle is positioned below the Tiguan, and in South America and China above the T-Cross. It is not marketed in core European market.
