West Market Street United Methodist Church(WMSUMC) is one of the oldest churches in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is over 190 years old; WMSUMC is located in downtown Greensboro across from the courthouse. It is a relatively large church with approximately 1700 members, though not all are active. The current sanctuary was constructed between 1893 and 1898; it was the third sanctuary built by the congregation. Today, the church has expanded, with a larger educational complex adjacent to the sanctuary, and other properties, including an Early Childhood Center, held at nearby. The Senior Pastor is the Reverend Beth Crissman, with Associate Pastor the Reverend Jeremy Benton.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1979. Although individually listed in the NRHP, it is located within the Monteith Historic District.
The Swanton Christian Church, formerly the First Congregational Church of Swanton, Old Brick Meetinghouse, and New Wine Christian Fellowship is a historic church in the village of Swanton, Vermont. Built in 1823 and remodeled in 1869, it is a prominent landmark in the village, and a fine local example of Italianate styling on a Federal period building. Main Street at the junction of Second Avenue in Bay Shore, Suffolk County, New York. The complex consists of three attached units: the 1893 Richardsonian Romanesque-style church; the Gothic Revival style former church building built in 1867, relocated and now attached to the main church as the "Fellowship Hall," and a two-story, flat roofed Sunday School wing built in 1959.

The first "Berkshire" Congregational Church was founded in 1803, and continues now in Newark Valley. The whole area now comprising Richford, Berkshire and Newark Valley had comprised only one town, Berkshire, originally. The present-day Berkshire Congregational Church was established in 1833, as a natural outgrowth of the one in Newark Valley.

It was originally built about 1850 and modified about 1895. The parish house was built about 1880. Both are brick buildings with wood floor and roof framing and stone foundations.

Union Church, also known as Brick Church, is a historic church building located in Davis City, Iowa, United States. For the first 20 years of its existence, Davis City did not have a church. This church was built at the instigation of John Clark in 1878. Clark was a native of Scotland who was of no particular religious affiliation, but thought "the moral and religious training of the Christian faith of fundamental importance." The church building was accessible to all denominations, and is now owned jointly by Methodist, Presbyterian, and Christian congregations. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
First United Methodist Church is an historic Methodist church in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The church was chartered in 1880 and the original building, constructed between 1880 and 1882, was the first church in New Town. By the turn of the century, the original sanctuary was found inadequate and was demolished. In 1904, a new sanctuary, now known as the Fellowship Hall, was built to replace this original adobe church on the same site. The architect was Charles Frederick Whittlesey and Tiffany-style windows were installed some short time after the completion of the building.

The First United Methodist Church is a Methodist church that was founded in 1868 in Reno, Nevada. In 1868 the first meetings were held in the local schoolhouse on the corner of what is now First and Sierra Streets. In 1871 The first church was erected and dedicated on Sierra Street between First and Second Streets. In the early 1900s the wood-framed church was moved to the back of the lot and a new brick building was added to it. And finally in 1925 plans for a new building were made. Designed by Wythe, Blaken, and Olson of Oakland, the church is one of the first poured concrete buildings in Reno and utilizes Gothic Revival architectural themes. The corner stone for the current historical building was placed in 1926, with the building being dedicated in December of that same year. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983; the listing included two contributing buildings. The second building is a parish house designed by local architect Donald Parsons and built in c.1940. In 1965 another addition was done to add on what is currently the fellowship hall, and Sunday school class rooms.

Trinity-St. James United Methodist Church is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The congregation began as a Sunday school in the northwest part of the city organized by Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. The evangelist Billy Sunday had preached a revival there and over 300 people joined the church. St. James Methodist Episcopal Church, as it was then known, was established shortly afterward in February 1910. The congregation originally used the closed Danish Lutheran Church at K Avenue NW and Fourth Street NW for their services, and they moved the building that summer to Ellis Boulevard NW. St. James grew to the point that a new building was needed. In 1945 property across the street was purchased, and local architect William J. Brown designed the new church facility. Construction began in September 1952 and it was completed in April 1954 for $165,000.
