Family Radio, also known by its licensee name Family Stations, Inc., is a non-profit, non-denominational, educational Christian radio network based in Oakland, California, United States. Established in 1958, Family Radio airs religious music and programming, both past and present, and is listener-supported.
WJTB-FM – branded GNN Radio – is a commercial Christian radio station licensed to serve South Congaree, South Carolina. Owned by Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute, Inc., the station services the Columbia metropolitan area and surrounding Midlands region as an affiliate of GNNradio. The WJTB-FM studios are located in Downtown Columbia while the station transmitter resides in Red Bank. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WJTB-FM broadcasts over three HD Radio channels, and is available online. The WJTB-HD2 digital subchannel, which airs the "Worship and Word Network", and the WJTB-HD3 digital subchannel, which airs the "Millennial-FM Network", also simulcast over low-power FM translators.
The Bible Broadcasting Network (BBN) is a listener-supported global Christian radio network staffed and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The programming consists of 50% outside ministries, 30% music and 20% BBN-produced programs. The network was founded in 1968 by its then-president, Lowell Davey (1933–2017). Programming content includes traditional Christian music, prayer times, children's programs, Bible teaching, teen programs, and family guidance programs. The network was born out of Davey's failed offer to buy a radio station in Norfolk, Virginia. The company was incorporated and on March 28, 1969, bought bankrupt WYFI and began broadcasting on October 2, 1971, at 5 p.m. BBN was still headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia when it bought Charlotte radio station WSOC (AM), which became WYFQ (AM).
