Vermont Yankee was an electricity generating nuclear power plant, located in the town of Vernon, Vermont, in the northeastern United States. It generated 620 megawatts (MWe) of electricity at full power. The plant was a boiling water reactor (BWR), designed by General Electric. It operated from 1972 until December 29, 2014, when its owner Entergy shut down the plant. In 2008, the plant provided 71.8% of all electricity generated within Vermont, amounting to 35% of Vermont's electricity consumption. The plant is on the Connecticut River, upstream of the Vernon, Vermont Hydroelectric Dam and used the reservoir pool for its cooling water.

The Katy Hamman-Stricker Library is located at 404 E. Mitchell Street in Calvert, Texas, USA. It consists of a museum as well as a public library and community center and was the first chapter house built by the American Woman's League in the state. Calvert is located within the Golden Triangle of Texas. The building was constructed in 1909 but its role changed thirty years later when it became the town library. It is designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
Helen Day Memorial Library and Art Center is a historic building in Stowe, Vermont, United States. The building, which was built in 1863 as Stowe Village School, is currently occupied by The Current, a non-profit contemporary arts and education organization. Established in 1981, The Current hosts exhibitions of visual art by internationally and nationally recognized artists and local Vermont artists. "Exposed" is The Current's annual outdoor sculpture exhibit. The Current also offers art classes in a variety of media for youth and adults, as well as guided tours of exhibits, extensive public programs and a free hands-on room and Art Lounge.
Prospect Hill Cemetery is a cemetery in Brattleboro, Vermont. Founded in 1796, it was originally known as the Village Burying Ground, and then Old Village Burying Ground. Additional parcels land was acquired over time, up to 1869.
