The church is owned and maintained by the congregation of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of East Bethel, Minnesota and is also known as Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Ham Lake. Both churches are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Originally built as an Episcopal church in 1889 by the Lannan Brothers, its Carpenter Gothic details include board and batten siding, lancet windows and door openings and buttresses. On January 20, 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. On February 7, 2007, the church received of the Colorado Historic Society's 21st Annual Stephen H. Hart Awards for its restoration of the interior and exterior of the building.

The First Episcopal Methodist Church of Chester is a historic church located at the intersection of 2nd Street and Madison Avenue in Chester, Montana. The church was built in 1911, a year after Chester was incorporated, in response to public demand for a permanent, dedicated church building. While Chester's Episcopal Methodist congregation officially owned the building, it was also used by Chester's various other Christian denominations until they were able to build their own churches. The church has a vernacular design typical of rural Montana churches of the period and is representative of the many church buildings built in the early twentieth century during an important era of homesteading and settlement in the state. The Methodist congregation left the church for a new building in 1968.

Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, is a historic building located in Waterloo, Iowa, United States. The congregation that built this building was organized in 1861 as First Methodist Episcopal Church. They built church buildings in 1865 at Lafayette and East Fifth Streets, and then at East Fourth and Mulberry Streets in 1877. They changed their name to Grace in 1895. They completed this building at Walnut and East Fifth Streets in 1913. The brick, Neoclassical structure designed by Turnbill & Jones features a large central dome and a large classical portico with six Ionic columns. Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church acquired the building from Grace United Methodist in 1996. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
St. James United Methodist Church is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The congregation began as a Sunday school in the northwest part of the city organized by Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. The evangelist Billy Sunday had preached a revival there and over 300 people joined the church. St. James Methodist Episcopal Church, as it was then known, was established shortly afterward in February 1910. The congregation originally used the closed Danish Lutheran Church at K Avenue NW and Fourth Street NW for their services, and they moved the building that summer to Ellis Boulevard NW. St. James grew to the point that a new building was needed. In 1945 property across the street was purchased, and local architect William J. Brown designed the new church facility. Construction began in September 1952 and it was completed in April 1954 for $165,000.
