An amphitheatre or amphitheater is an open-air venue used for entertainment, performances, and sports. The term derives from the ancient Greek ἀμφιθέατρον, from ἀμφί, meaning "on both sides" or "around" and θέατρον, meaning "place for viewing".

Chester Amphitheatre is a Roman amphitheatre in Chester, Cheshire. The site is managed by English Heritage; it is designated as a Grade I listed building, and a scheduled monument. The ruins currently exposed are those of a large stone amphitheatre, similar to those found in Continental Europe, and although it was long believed that a smaller wooden amphitheatre existed on the site beforehand, excavations since 1999 have shown that the wooden grillage is the base of the seating. Today, only the northern half of the structure is exposed; the southern half is covered by buildings, some of which are themselves listed.
Windego Park Auditorium/Open Air Theater is an amphitheater in Anoka, Minnesota, located on the Rum River. The theater was built in 1914 and was spurred by the City Beautiful movement, as well as Anoka citizens' interest in outdoor entertainment and recreation. Its main organizer, Thaddeus P. Giddings, was a promoter of music education and had been organizing community singalongs in the summer of 1913. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

U.S. Highway 82 in Arkansas is a major east–west arterial highway across the state's lowest tier of counties. It enters Arkansas from Texas, concurrent with US Highway 67, at a junction with US Highway 71 on the border between Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas. The route leaves Arkansas on the Lake Village Bridge over the Mississippi River near Lake Village, crossing into Mississippi.

The Cross and Nelson Hall Historic District encompasses two historic buildings on the campus of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. Cross Hall and Nelson Hall were both built in 1936 by the Public Works Administration (PWA) as dormitories for boys and girls, respectively. They are two-story L-shaped brick buildings with Colonial Revival and Collegiate Gothic stylistic elements. Cross Hall has since been converted into classrooms and professors' offices; Nelson Hall now houses student services and the admissions office.
The President's House is a historic building on the campus of Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Magnolia, Arkansas. The single-story brick structure was designed in the Mid-Century Modern style by Wittenberg, Delony, and Davidson, and built in 1958. The architectural style is a departure from the rest of the firm's work for SAU, which is predominantly Colonial Revival in character. The house is set north and east of the university's athletic fields, away from the main campus buildings. Its construction was begun under the tenure of Dr. Dolph Camp. It was used as the official residence of the university president until the summer of 2001, and has since 2003 housed the SAU Foundation.
The Old Alexander House is a historic house on the campus of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. Originally built in rural Columbia County in 1855 by Samuel Alexander, this single-story dogtrot house is one of the oldest buildings in the county, and one of its few surviving antebellum structures.
Shady Lake Recreation Area is a campground and public recreation area in southwestern Ouachita National Forest, southwest of Mena, Arkansas and west of Glenwood, Arkansas. The area is oriented around Shady Lake, a body of water on the South Fork Saline River impounded by a dam built c. 1940 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The area is administered by the United States Forest Service (USFS).
Overstreet Hall is a historic academic building on the campus of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. It is located at the junction of East University and North Jackson Streets, occupying a prominent visual position approaching the campus from the south. It is a three-story brick building with Colonial Revival features. It has a hip roof with dormers, and a Doric order six-column portico with pediments at the center of the main facade. It was built in 1941–43 with funding support from the Works Progress Administration. It currently houses the university's administrative offices.
Pilot Knob State Park is located southeast of Forest City, Iowa, United States. Founded in 1923, it is one of the oldest state parks in Iowa. Between 1990 and 1995 one area was named nationally recognized historic district and five structures were individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
