The Hampton National Guard Armory is a history military facility at 504 North King Street in Hampton, Virginia. A large brick building with Moderne styling, it was built in 1936 with funding support from the New Deal-era Works Progress Administration, and is one of the few surviving armories built in the inter-war period in coastal Virginia. It originally housed Battery D of the 111th Field Artillery, and was used as a community meeting space for dances and other social events. [2]

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. [1]

Connecticut Street Armory United States historic place

Connecticut Street Armory, also known as the 74th Regimental Armory, is a historic National Guard armory building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is sited at Columbus Park. It is a massive castle-like structure built in 1899 of Medina sandstone. It was designed by architect Isaac G. Perry. It consists of a ​3 12-story administration building with an attached 2-story drill shed all constructed of sandstone, lying on a rusticated battered stone foundation. The building features 4- to 6-story towers surrounding the administration building, and a ​6 12-story square tower at the center entrance. It is home to the 74th Regiment of the New York National Guard.

Housing the Richmond Light Infantry Blues, the castle-like structure originally served multiple purposes, with a food market on the ground floor and a drill hall for the National Guard of the United States on the top floor. The level between housed suites of offices for each individual National Guard company. In 1985, the ground floor was converted to retail and restaurant space, part of the 6th Street Marketplace.

National Guard Armory-Pine Bluff United States historic place

The National Guard Armory-Pine Bluff is a former National Guard armory at 623 West 2nd Avenue in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It is a two-story masonry structure, built out of concrete and buff brick with Art Deco styling, included a castellated parapet. It was built in 1931, and was the first state-owned militia building in Jefferson County. It served as a state armory until 1974, housing the 39th Tank Company, and now houses vocational classrooms.
