U.S. Route 341 (US 341) is a 224-mile-long (360 km) U.S. highway entirely in the U.S. state of Georgia. It travels diagonally across southern Georgia from Brunswick at US 17/SR 25 to Barnesville at US 41/SR 7/SR 18. It is a spur route of US 41 and has two intersections with it: in Perry and at its northern terminus in Barnesville.
The Hawkinsville and Florida Southern Railway (H&FS) was founded in 1896 and by 1901 was operating 43 miles (69 km) of track from Hawkinsville to Worth, Georgia, United States, where it connected with the Georgia Southern and Florida Railroad. It also operated a 15-mile (24 km) line between Davisville and Fitzgerald, Georgia. In 1907, a portion of the H&FS was leased to the Gulf Line Railway However, in 1913, the H&FS took over operations and fully absorbed the Gulf Line resulting in a line from Hawkinsville to Camilla, Georgia. In 1922, the H&FS went bankrupt. The section from Camilla to Ashburn, Georgia, was purchased by the Georgia, Ashburn, Sylvester and Camilla Railway but no buyers could be found for the remainder of the system and it was abandoned by 1923.

WCEH-FM is an FM station licensed to Pinehurst, Georgia. It shared studios and offices with WCEH, WDXQ, WQXZ and WWKM in Hawkinsville, Georgia. The station, "Sunny 98.3", was first WFAV and later WKKN in Cordele, Georgia, and then WQXZ. The station moved its city of license after WMRZ Dawson, Georgia, signed on with 25,000 watts at 98.1 FM. Jim Popwell from Hawkinsville, the former owner of WSSY, was also the holder of the permit for the Dawson station. Popwell planned the move before selling all his stations in 2003. The transmitter site move for WSSY was required for the new Dawson station to operate at 25,000 watts. The new site could not be close enough to Cordele for continued licensure, so Pinehurst was selected to effect the move. The station programmed an adult standards format, and featured Hawkinsville High Football. It was also well received in Warner Robins, Cochran, Hawkinsville, Montezuma, Perry and other areas further north of Cordele. The station is owned by Shanks Broadcasting.
Hawkinsville is a ghost town in Matagorda County, Texas, United States that formerly had a distinct community. In 2018, there were a few homes nearby, several businesses one mile to the south, and the name appeared on maps, but one source refers to the place in the past tense while a second source states that the town disappeared in the 1950s. The town site is between Cedar Lane and Sargent.
