Highland Hall, located in MidTown Columbus, Georgia was built in 1857 by the Ellis family and originally sat on a ten-acre lot. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places on 1980. [1]
The house is a Greek Revival, raised cottage that was originally two rooms deep, symmetrically flanking a large central hall. A two-story rear addition was built at about 1905, incorporating what is thought to have been the original detached kitchen. The pedimented front porch has four square-sectioned columns and fine cast-iron balustrade and ornamental trim. [2]
The Ellis’ sold Highland Hall in 1878 for $700. During the next decade, Highland Hall changed hands several times before being sold to Estelle Collins in 1905. Ms. Collins remained in the home until her death in 1978.

Rochester City Hall is a historic government building in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. Also known as the Federal Building and Old Post Office, the building was originally built for use by the federal government. It is a four-story, Richardsonian Romanesque style structure with an inner court and tower. It was built between 1885 and 1889 of heavy brown sandstone with a metal skeleton. It was expanded in 1893 and in 1907. The building was designed in part by architect Harvey Ellis under the Office of the Supervising Architect Mifflin E. Bell. The building has served as the City Hall since the 1970s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Wonder Ballroom is a music venue located in northeast Portland, Oregon. Prior to opening in 2004, the building was occupied by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Catholic Youth Organization, the Portland Boxing School, the American Legion organization, and a community center eventually known as the Collins Center. In 2005, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Hibernian Hall for its "historic and architectural significance".
Speed the Plough is a farm in Amherst County, Virginia near the village of Elon, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The farm represents a succession of farm buildings from about 1799 to 1940. Its main house, a two-story brick structure, was built for William Dearing (1820–1862). Dearing held about fourteen slaves on the farm prior to the American Civil War. The property was sold out of the Dearing family about 1915 and the land was converted to an orchard by the Montrose Fruit Company, abandoning the house and most buildings. The land and house were later acquired by Rowland Lea (1872–1960). His partner, George Stevens (1868–1941), built a stone summer residence, the Rock Cottage, on the property. Several other buildings have been renovated for residential use and comprise a small village in what are now pasture lands.
