Overview

This train belongs to the Eastern Zone of Indian Railways. This train runs with 5 stops between the two cities. There is no unreserved seating available in this train, as it has stopagges at ASN,JSME,PNBE,MGS & CNB. As inaugurated by Mamata Banerjee, it is one of the fastest trains on this route afterSealdah Rajdhani & Howrah Rajdhani followed by [ dubious ], Poorva Express & other trains on the same route. This train is the most time-efficient train on the route. This train is fully accommodated with the latest Hybrid-LHB Coaches. The coaches have a garden-green livery with colourful patches. Tatkal facility is available in this train. The train is usually hauled by a Howrah Shed WAP-7 locomotive in its entire route. passengers are supplied with complimentary meals . Lunch, Evening snacks and tea, Soup and dinner and Morning tea is served in a journey. Also a bottle of Rail Neer is supplied. If the train is behind schedule meals are supplied free of costs which may differ from original menu.

The Grand chord section is the lifeline of the country on which Coal, Steel and other important goods are moved from Eastern section to Western and Northern sections of the country. In the down direction, the traffic consists of mostly food grains, fertilizers and empty wagons for coal loading in the Bihar and West Bengal coal fields. Mughalsarai is a transit division and the main objective is to maintain mobility of high density traffic. The present capacity of the Grand Chord is being optimally utilized. Traversing through Chhota Nagpur plateau of Jharkhand as well as parts of the fertile Gangetic plains of Bihar, the Grand Chord covers a stretch of 450 km (280 mi).

Chennai Rajdhani Express train service connecting Chennai to New Delhi

The Hazrat Nizamuddin - Chennai Central Rajdhani Express (12433/34) is an important train connecting Chennai to New Delhi. It was first introduced in 1993 and runs twice a week from Delhi and twice from Chennai. The Chennai Rajdhani is a fast alternative to the classic Grand Trunk Express and the modern superfast Tamil Nadu Express. The Chennai Rajdhani Express covers a distance of 2176 kilometers in 28 hours 10 minutes as compared to 33 hours and 5 min covered by Tamil Nadu Express and 35 hours and 15 minutes taken by Grand Trunk Express. It gets WAP7 from SCR's Lallaguda electric shed. It shares the record of being the second fastest train between Chennai Central and Hazrat Nizamuddin covering the distance of 2175 km in 28 hours and 10 minutes as Chennai Duronto covering the 2174 km journey in 27 hours and 55 minutes but in return it does not happens.

Howrah Rajdhani Express Indian train connecting Kolkata and New Delhi

Howrah Rajdhani Express is the most prestigious Rajdhani class train in India which connects New Delhi to Howrah, Kolkata. The Howrah Rajdhani was the first Rajdhani Express in India, thereby becoming the first fully air-conditioned train in the country. The train is one of the fastest in India with maximum speed is more than 130 km/h and an average speed of 88 km/h (55 mph). Duronto Express is a category of long-distance non stop source to destination trains run by the Indian Railways. Initially these trains did not have any ticketing stops between the origin and the destination, but since January 2016 it is possible to book tickets from those technical stops. "Duronto" means "Non-stop" in Bangla. The Bhagalpur – Anand Vihar Terminal Garib Rath Express is a superfast train of Indian Railways which connects Bhagalpur, an important town of Bihar and Delhi, the capital of India. It is one of the premier trains on this route. Before inauguration, this train ran between Rajendra Nagar and New Delhi. The train is hauled from Bhagalpur Junction to Anand Vihar Terminal, by a WAP 7 locomotive of Ghaziabad Shed. The train comprises 18 Third AC coaches, 2 End-On-Generation Vans.

Mumbai New Delhi Duronto Express

Mumbai–New Delhi Duronto Express, also known as Mumbai AC Duronto Express, is a fully air-conditioned, non-stop version of Duronto-type service running between Mumbai Central and New Delhi. It is maintained by Western Railways (WR), Mumbai division. This train does not used to make any commercial halts, but now it does make commercial halts at Vadodara,Ratlam and Kota. In the up direction, from New Delhi to Mumbai, the service runs with train number 22210 and in down direction, from Mumbai to New Delhi, as train number 22209.
