Inguadona Township is a township in Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 190 as of the 2000 census. [3] Inguadona is a name probably derived from an unidentified Native American language. [4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 38.1 square miles (99 km2), of which 34.6 square miles (90 km2) is land and 3.5 square miles (9.1 km2) (9.23%) is water.
The township contains Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 190 people, 86 households, and 62 families residing in the township. The population density was 5.5 people per square mile (2.1/km2). There were 213 housing units at an average density of 6.2/sq mi (2.4/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 95.79% White, 1.05% Native American, and 3.16% from two or more races.
There were 86 households, out of which 12.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.8% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.21 and the average family size was 2.45.
In the township the population was spread out, with 16.3% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 16.3% from 25 to 44, 28.9% from 45 to 64, and 35.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
